So I think it was late last year that Bob mentioned he was working on a special project and I theorized it could be a movie, since he's been whining about the fact that he wanted to have a James Gunn/Sam Raimi/Peter Jackson style film career where he starts off doing low-budget horror, and then gradually works his way up until he can make big blockbusters. I'm assuming that's what this project is, either a schlocky horror movie or an MCU/Mario fan film.

So if he's in debt, that must mean he's borrowed money to make it happen instead of crowd-funding it. Which, if true, props to him for actually going to a bank for a loan and taking the risk. But in reality he probably just heard Kevin Smith's story about maxing out a credit card to pay for Clerks and he only owes $5k rather than five or six figures. So with his patreon and other stuff, he could probably pay it back quickly and he's just too bad at managing money he sees it as the equivalent of owing $100k.

Drawing on my personal experience, a stranger asked me to take his wheelchair-bound relative to the nearby hospital because he was banned (I didn't ask why) and I agreed because the thought of leaving an elderly woman alone on the streets didn't sit well with me. It was a rewarding experience because I knew that helping a stranger in need was the right thing to do. That's the thing, Bob.
