Debatable, since his numbers slimmed down as well. Also, looking at that old photo and how he looks now (somewhat fat with a crazy hobo beard) is..mmm...kinda sadView attachment 1667985
Once again, Yahtzee will be the only reason people tune in to the Escapist.
I still count him as a successful internet story. He got married, hasn’t been fired, actually puts out books, and isn’t e-begging. From what I’ve heard, he actually knows how to handle his money and his wife is pretty wealthy as well, and he seems happy with what he’s doing.Debatable, since his numbers slimmed down as well. I'd argue Caddyshack was a product of the 1970s, not the 1980s, since it was released in July 1980, but whatever. Anyway, that was pretty much every comedy of the 1975-1985 era, though, excepting only (maybe) Animal House and Ghostbusters. Stripes, Back to School, Airplane, Porky's, Silver Streak, even Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Before I had to turn it off Bob speedily tells the viewer that the 80s classic "Caddyshack" was a mess of a film that was only saved by performances of its star comedians.

And is there anything comedic Hollywood's produced this century that has worked as well as even a crappy movie like Porky's? Maybe, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.
40 Year Old Virgin, one or two of the Scary Movies, Waiting..., and probably the closest in spirit, EuroTrip. And is there anything comedic Hollywood's produced this century that has worked as well as even a crappy movie like Porky's? Maybe, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Well if they want to build their platform on positivity it's no wonder they got rid of Bob.
Speaking of positivity and YahtzeeThe fact they also mentioned Yahtzee as well in the original post is rather interesting.
Nah, thats just corporate shit. I hate the guy, but, they dont hate him because to Megacorp204785 hes a nobody and they dont hate him enough because hes not worth hating. Theyre just cutting the dead fruit off of the tree. I think he hasnt commented because a) its embarrassing and he looks stupid and b) even he knows. So cold. So very cold. No "we'll miss you" no "it was a hard decision" just "he's gone, that is all".
Get fucked Bobby!
Feel sorry for Bob even more!

Oh no....he's retarded.
Yeah to the day, I checked the thread. It's on page 750.Also, is this really the third anniversary of Chipman Sr. shuffling off this mortal coil? Man, they really did stick it in and break it off.
The Judd Apatow Gang was behind a lot of solid comedies, Anchorman 1, 40 Year Old Virgin, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Superbad, This Is The End, and Pineapple Express. Sadly it seems Woke Culture/Political Correctness has forced Hollywood to stop producing these kinds of movies or they at least have to placate to PC Culture and just straight up suck.I'd argue Caddyshack was a product of the 1970s, not the 1980s, since it was released in July 1980, but whatever. It’s funny too since Judd Apatow is known to be a hardcore TDS leftist. The Judd Apatow Gang was behind a lot of solid comedies, Anchorman 1, 40 Year Old Virgin, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Superbad, This Is The End, and Pineapple Express. This is what happens when you defend cuties.Bob got fired from the Escapist again.
Best possible quote on Pa Chipman's passing. From what I gather, he didn't exactly approve of Bob's choice of "career", as would most parents, if they saw their kids solely focused on that kind of thing without a plan B to fall back on.He died knowing his son never amounted to anything.
The whole staff and crew of TYT together couldn't pick up MovieBlob. Chunk Yogurt would throw his back out.Bob could always get picked up by The Young Turks.
