Glad he's fired but this fat piece of shit still makes $42,000/yr off patreon alone
No no no, thats the best part. The slow and subtle decline in a crazy retards income is the best part.

Soon bob can only afford 9 cheeseburgers a day.

Then 8... and 7... and eventually... he throws a big tantrum and gets on the happening board again. Just enjoy the ride my dear friend.

Between how he shilled his Patreon at the start of his last video and the fact that he literally just retweeted this, he's definitely feeling the pressure mounting.

I'd argue Caddyshack was a product of the 1970s, not the 1980s, since it was released in July 1980, but whatever. Anyway, that was pretty much every comedy of the 1975-1985 era, though, excepting only (maybe) Animal House and Ghostbusters. Stripes, Back to School, Airplane, Porky's, Silver Streak, even Fast Times at Ridgemont High. 🤷‍♂️ I'd imagine that that's what audiences of that era kind of expected.

And is there anything comedic Hollywood's produced this century that has worked as well as even a crappy movie like Porky's? Maybe, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.
You forgot one of the most underrated ones: Kentucky Fried Movie.

The Judd Apatow Gang was behind a lot of solid comedies, Anchorman 1, 40 Year Old Virgin, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Superbad, This Is The End, and Pineapple Express. Sadly it seems Woke Culture/Political Correctness has forced Hollywood to stop producing these kinds of movies or they at least have to placate to PC Culture and just straight up suck.

The last decent dumb comedy I can even think of recent memory was the newest National Lampoon's Vacation, which was wholly devoid of originality and lacked any semblance of warmth. But I think you'd have to be a total buzzkill to claim that Ed Helms & Christina Applegate don't produce some mild chuckles.
I really enjoyed Game Night and Tag as kind of comedy throwbacks.

I don't understand why it was such a monumental feat to get your parents to buy you both a Super Nintendo and a Genesis.

Especially back then when there were more major retailers than today and shit was heavily discounted. Like you had 6 major toy store chains in the US. That and this was the era before Gamestop so you usually wound up inheriting a ton of older game stuff and could amass a collection of 50-100 games from just relatives discarding stuff.

I grew up in the age of the N64 and even then it wasn't common to know kids with an N64/Dreamcast or N64/Playstation combo. Most parents bought one console for their kids if they bought them video games at all. If my brother or I wanted to play a Playstation or Dreamcast game we had to go over to a friend's house. I guarantee you that the question "can I get a Playstation?" would be answered with "No, you already have a Sega/Nintendo at home." by most parents in those days.

Hell, my household was that way up until my brother and I got income of our own and bought ourselves a secondhand 360 for Skyrim.

Well apparently his pleas for more patrons didn't go wholly unnoticed and his slow bleedout has been stopped for now. His Patreon is up another $600/month and 120 more patrons since yesterday. Apparently, there is no end to the amount of fools with money out there. Whether this is just people tossing a few bucks his way one-time or people are actually interested in supporting him long-term remains to be seen. Funny that it's pretty much exactly $5 per new patron, did he specifically ask for that amount in his begging video?

New episode of the movie podcast is out, which has always had RLM Jack, Bob and the other guy as hosts. I only watched the first few minutes until they went into the first topic but they don't even acknowledge that Bob's gone. Suddenly it's two hosts instead of three and they don't address it even for a second. Kinda Stalin-esque, but couldn't happen to a nicer guy. The comments talk about him tho if you want to have a look.

Others have already pointed out that it's weird that the only place this was announced was the Youtube community section (not on their twitter, not on their homepage) but man now it seems like they just want to wash their hands of that guy and move on.

Edit: But meanwhile on twitter:

Oh dear. I thought Jack might have just been playing ball with The Escapist by praising Bob. But no, he actually admires Bob (and Lupa). I guess I'm officially in the Jack sucks club.

A recovering alcoholic like Jack ought to know better than to hang out with an unrepentant, sloppy boozehound like Bob.

What does it say about Blob, when his MOTHER is STILL ALIVE, that he implies he can't ask HER "what the hell am I supposed to do now?" instead of his deceased father?

Or shit, what does it say about his mother? That she'd just pat little big blobby on the head and say, "There there dear" or something else comfortingly useless instead of what Blob "knows" what the hell he should do and validate him that way?

Also somehow I get the impression that Pa Chipman's response would be, "Have another beer!"
