So what is it, Bob? Are lockdowns bad or good? You can't wholeheartedly support something one minute, then blame a guy you hate for pushing it the next moment. You can't demand people stay home and mask up one second, then say the government should open up movie theaters and public venues the next second. I'm not angry at Bob for his genocidal rants against the white middle class; it's his prevaricating, incoherent nature that I can't stand. He's just saying whatever he thinks he needs to say to make himself accepted by his peer group. (We already know what his peer group thinks of him, so all of Bob's mealy-mouthed assertions are just wasted anyway...)

He's not the only one who believes this. There are a lot of people who believe that all we have to do is lock down just one more time for another month. Just once more, and it'll all be fine. He's also far from the only one who believes that you can just throw money at people in perpetuity without actually producing anything or providing a service.

It's crazier still when you realize that he offers jackshit for subscribing to his Patreon at all. Up until he got sacked from The Escapist, he rarely posted any updates, basically just putting up a notice any time he actually happened to release a video on his own channel. Now that Patreon is his only source of income, he's updating it more frequently, but it's still just "hey I posted a video, go watch it." There's no news posts of upcoming videos, no behind-the-scenes footage (although I can't say it would be interesting to actually view the green-painted wall), nothing exclusive that rewards backers for their donations. Shit, even the smallest Patreons offer at least some sort of thanks to subscribers, like throwing in a list of names at the end of the video. Bob does none of that.

I'm not saying you can't operate your Patreon like a tip jar, and I actually prefer that in general, but it's baffling to me that there are almost 1400 people that willingly give to a fat retard and get absolutely nothing in return that you can't already get for free. You can even read all of his Patreon posts for free as well, so there's even less of a reason to subscribe!
