But...Ellis strikes me as someone who would rejoice if those on the 'other side' would just kinda, yanno, vanish one day so that she and her fellow travelers could start building the Utopia they desire. I don't think she disagrees with the ends, she was just irritated that he's talking about it out loud.

So she saw an opportunity to distance herself from M-Bob and took it. I don't think she's a good human being, but I can't blame her for doing what she did.

Don't get us wrong. Lindsay Ellis is an awful person, she's just much more image conscious than Bob is. This is a power play on her part, cutting ties with a useful idiot because he is no longer useful to her or because the association with Bob could cost her. It's a conniving move, for sure.
