It’s sitting outside now, held together by bungies, waiting for me to drive it to the dealership (the owner is my mother’s cousin, so at least I know it’ll be taken care of fairly) in the morning. Maybe she was black, but in a Boston suburb it's just as likely she was shanty Irish, or Bob is just making shit up. (Notably, if you rear-end someone it's almost always your fault; here it sounds like everyone was following too close.)
