What's the point then, isn't the one of the big atractions of these shared universe movies isn't the forward narrative, as in, the expectation to see what happens next.

If we are going to set a movie behind, but close to the big climax of the story, then it is one of little consequence, because we already saw the big climax and looks like this story didn't have much to add.

Comics can get away with that because they are floppies that used to cost a couple of bucks., Not so much when you are making a blockbuster costing a ludicrous fortune.

Anyway, seems like the new Spiderman stuff will also be a multi-verse movie with the other spidermans and I never liked multiverse stuff... and after Endgame I haven't watched a single capeshit and I don't think I ever will. i had my fill for good.
The capeshit movie-goers will watch anything. Of course they're going to add some extra female spidermans in there for good measure. Bob will celebrate this as a "forward, progressive thinking" movie ignoring the fact that it's just a woman once again replacing a male role instead of having their own unique characters. That way the studio can still be "progressive" while not actually doing anything creative or risky.

If you mean in terms of population, maybe, but Wyoming is actually fairly sizable at just under 100,000 square miles, tenth largest in the country. It has the second lowest population density, as obviously Alaska is the lowest, with much of its territory essentially uninhabitable.
Population, as I'm guessing that was Bob's point? I've figured out whatever the dumbest opinion is, that's the one he's spouting.

...What the fuck kind of an "insult" is that supposed to be, anyway? What does this woman have to do with the X-Files?

Why the fuck does this stupid fat fuck say the most nonsensical stuff?!!
I think he's trying to call this woman a whacky nutty conspiracy theorist. This is what the Left does when someone brings up things like this; they dismiss it out-of-hand and call the people who mention it crazy conspiracy nutters that aren't in tune with reality, even if what the other person brings up is based in reality. Cuz apparently, credible evidence that Illhan Omar committed marriage fraud to help her bro immigrate is a "baseless conspiracy theory".

Many people who do this appeal to the pop culture reference of the X-files. The funny thing about that is, MULDER (the man) was the conspiracy theorist on that show, while Scully (the woman) was a skeptic, but more often than not the "conspiracy theories" turned out NOT to be "conspiracy theories" at all, but actual truth within the universe of the show.

Gotta give credit where credit's due: Illhan Omar's twitter is full of her being at least based enough (or if not her, whoever's running her twitter) to not be a complete total sperg lolcow, at least when compared to Bob, when faced with such accusations. Never actually answers any accusations (typical politician lol), but keeps the spergery to a minumum and just simply insults the person instead like a pro Troll.

She only occasionally rises up to complain about the lack of diversity at GDC every year. Except now with the virus, she can't even do that anymore.
She left the gaming industry last year because she couldn't earn enough money to continue (because allegedly no actual game devs liked her) and Polygon wrote this essay about how amazing and too good for this industry she is. Then a few months later she came back and helped Zoe Quinn try to start a "MeToo movement for gaming" (presumably as revenge for the industry not taking her seriously) that started (and ended) with the suicide of Zoe Quinn's ex, Alec Holowka.

Now Anita complains on Twitter about dumb shit no one cares about and cries when people ratio her.

She made a Tweet a couple weeks ago criticizing the Mandalorian because they had females with armor that had chest pieces resembling breasts, and predictably complained when people complained about her complaints.

I'm a complete fucking autist but when Square made the shift over to Sony, you know what I did?

I got a fucking Playstation.

Did I whine about Square abandoning Nintendo? Fuck no. Besides, if we wanted to play N64, one of my bros had a friend who would bring one over and we'd all play Goldeneye 4 player.

So this "digital vietnam" sperging of Bob's makes me certain that not even Chris back in the day had friends with other consoles that they'd either go over to the friends' houses or friends that would bring their different consoles over to play. So even back then the both of them were too autistic to befriend very many other kids, let alone other kids who had the temerity to own a non-Nintendo console.

Guess however autistic I am, I'm nowhere near as autistic (or exceptional) as Bob OR Chippa.
Bob really is a remarkable sperg. I never knew anybody who got butthurt over the introduction of the Sega Genesis. It was almost unbelievably great at the time.
Bob is such a turd, I don't think he even sees the hypocrisy here. He's already rude and terrible to the BAD women. But everybody has to walk on eggshells around left wing BPDs, and they still go into hysterics to summon white knights ass pats.

Gotta protect your own Twitter job, I guess.

Does she have better things to do though? Anita is a nobody nowadays, her 15 minutes of fame are long gone. Feminist Frequency's current YouTube numbers are really bad for someone as well known as she is, and their Patreon brings 1409 dollars less than Bob's.

Yes, Anita Sarkeesian is less successful than MovieBob right now, let that fact sink in for a moment.

I wouldn't put it past Anita to throw Bob (or anyone else, really) to the wolves in order to play the victim if it gets her name back in the spotlight for a minute.
Holy shit you're not kidding. Averaging 2-3k views per video, fundraisers sitting at 1.7k......

When cinema Robert is performing two orders of magnitude better then you, it's time to neck yourself.

No, he's referring to the infamous Halloween episode with the extremely inbred rednecks, the Peacock Family. Which simultaneously shows how vile, hate-filled, and autistic he is, all at once. Not only is he likening someone to a mentally and morally deformed inbred subhuman just for disagreeing with him, but he's also referencing one specific episode of a TV show that was on over two decades ago and expecting everyone to know what he's talking about.

His ex-waifu's old boss is apparently Voldemort levels of evil. So evil that Robert can't say his name!

What did Doug do to get the Voldemort treatment from Robert?

Since when the freaking Nostalgia Critic of all people do politics?
I have no clue either since I never kept up with Doug but apparently his review for the new Animaniacs reboot has him saying he thinks they're blunt about having a left-wing bias. Heard he has others but that's the one I heard cited when I looked into it.

"get his subs back up" just sounds like pure embitterment arising from the fact that Bob knows his channel and internet career are failing.

Also Nostalgia Critic probably boned his woman.

That's funny because woke critics are panning the show for apparently making fun of wokism.

I don't give a shit about Animaniacs so I don't know which one is true.

Jesse Singal's next podcast episode is gonna be about how Bob got BTFO by Lindsay:

(tweet / archive)

The podcast is behind a paywall (and probably boring), so I'm not subscribed,
I'm just posting this to point out that that fun little incident is still making waves on social media, and when some of those waves splash back to Bob we can expect more chimpouts from him... :D

Spider-Man and Batman are special cases. They almost always make bank by virtue of being the most mainstream IPs due to being in the early days of comic adaptions as well as having tv shows and cartoons dating back decades. There is very little you can do to fuck up Spider-Man for the soys.

That said, I think they'll try to push out Peter in favor of Spider-Mutt himself, Miles. Being Black is en vogue and every neolib consoomer including their daughters love it. How progressive would it be to have the half hispanic half black kid take over the mantle from that disgusting Cis-hetero White male?
Female Spideys have never actually sold well. Spider-Gwen comic books undersell and only have a positive impact when she's a guest on someone else's books.
So the best progressive thing they can do is catapult Miles to the top and have the White girl fall for the BBC (which they already did in the comics; married and with children).

I feel Bob tries to oversell capeshit and nerd crap because it would make him seem more intellectual as a result. "That fat loser who was into Mario and fantasy in high school? Turns out he was actually into deep literature and godlike storytelling with mature themes and complex narratives, we were simply too ignorant to see it."
Capeshit is as complex as Blob goes so of course he wants to oversell it. The alternative is realizing he's one of the dumb white mayo ghouls he's despised all along.

So, the answer is either:

1. He's giving an overly long and roundabout reference to the X-Files in general to call this woman a wacky conspiracy theorist, and people have to reread it 10 times in order to get this because this dumb subhuman fat fuck can't use brevity to save his worthless obese hide.
or
2. He's making a direct reference to a particular X-Files episode that's only remembered for being disgusting and that only the most die-hard fans would clearly recall, and it's only relevant because this woman is also from the south and it all ties back to this dumb subhuman fat fuck's hatred for non-urban white people.

Either way, the fact remains that this "insult" is pretty indecipherable to everyone else, and is overall a waste of space - just like Bob.

Christ almighty, whoever it was that said MovieBob is the ultimate A-Log test wasn't lying.
