God I love how powerfully stupid he is. It's heady and refreshing, to know that there's still people like him out there. Don't look at me that way, he serves a vital function in society! Movieblob and his ilk exist to deflect the attention of con artists and various other dumdums and ne'er do wells from your average citizen, and for that, I salute him.

Believe it or not Bob, people of all genders are capable of exercising poor judgement when it comes to sexism.

I seriously doubt he even plays THAT anymore because Anita says boo. I wouldn't be surprised that he has grown to hate blue robot shooting other robots game or hedgehog that runs very fast game.
I said it in the gamergate thread and I'll say it here. Bob has in terms of gaming mentally remained in the age of Mario and Sonic rivalry era were everything is peachy. His hatred of modern games has practically turned him to that grandpa who hates the newfangled technology/anything without actually trying.

He'll only stick with the jumping plumber games that never bothered to be paper jumping plumber since the latter came from an era where games became bad because dude bro gamers destroyed gaming with COD and robot punching games. It is like @DrunkTails said in that blob thinks games beyond the age when Sonic and Mario were rivals are all terrible games that are racist and sexist.

I'm still flabbergasted that he dismisses Deus Ex so casually. This is the same man who wrote a whole book (a short one, granted) about how deep and meaningful Jumping Plumber Siblings was to him and then just brushes off Deus Ex.

He probably doesn't even consider how Deus Ex is with the story, be it the first with JC Denton or the prequel with Adam Jensen. He thinks it's like COD and that stealth and pacifism isn't as fulfilling or more thrilling than just shooting or punching a guy. If Mario is a deep experience to Movie Bob, then everything else may as well be crap because it isn't two Italian plumbers jumping on turtles. He thinks a game like Deus Ex must be immature because of dude bro gamers, nevermind that the likes of Human Revolution actually tackled prejudice through normal people and augmented human beings. That sort of thing can be seen with a cop whose tone isn't friendly to a player and from a protester who thinks the right of augmented people should be taken away.

Hasn't Deus Ex from the very first game always tried to directly handle issues of social justice, racism, privacy, and the human condition in the face of an evolving technological reality? I know this is the guy who practically cries over Miyamoto's genius when he sees a block in a certain place, but did he miss how he doesn't even have to analyze the series to see the depth in games he supposedly loves?
