Bobert thinks that the movie industry is an economic juggernaut, a loss of which would utterly devastate the US. Mahvel moobies make a lot of money, so they must involve a lot of jobs, right? To Bobert, the movie industry is irreplaceable.
At the same time he thinks manufacturing and farming industries are dying sectors, already replaced by imported goods made by superior brown and asian people, and propped up by the blue state economic powerhouse metropoles who, by their immeasurable kindness, feed the starving mayo ghouls in the wasteland.
So to Bob there's no cognitive dissonance or doublethink involved when crying about movie industry jobs while laughing at manufacturing jobs. To him, one sector is the future and irreplaceable, and the other is being replaced already.

I don't think I'd ever watched jimmy dore but decided to see why he has bob so upset, and I was pleasantly surprised. Not sure if this is just political astroturfing, but I enjoyed and at least in principle agreed with most of this interview. I don't know much about the boogaloo boys and just assumed they were lolcows, but the sentiments in this vid definitely appealed to my past idealist lefty self. It's worth noting though that most of what's in this video would absolutely be an attack on Bob's most retarded ideas on politics, so if even out of curiosity I'd recommend giving it a look.

There's a lot of problems, but Bob, the smoothbrain that he is, can't think of shit.

IT work in hills doesn't work too well due to the lack of cable and reliable signals; they often use satellite which is pain.
Setting up the infrastructure costs money, which said region doesn't have.
Training the crew costs money and time they and the region don't have.
The workload is too small just for it.

Bob mostly screeches gas the normals because that's the simplest and most retarded solution, thus the only solution he barely understands.

Starlink is the main viable solution to this problem since it doesn't require laying cables. I don't know if Bob has commented on it, but it will finally provide somewhat decent internet coverage to remote backwaters like Appalachia which are currently losing population and might make them viable places to work again. West Virginia lost 3.7% of its population since 2010 so not much is going to happen there unless something changes.
