As someone who's read those papers said Marxists have written, let me assure you those are the least insane things they've come up with. I am pretty sure the TV show was, at its peak, worth around 550 Million dollars for the IP rights. One of the most expensive general entertainment IP's in the world and absolutely the most expensive IP for TV at the time. Hell, the the scyfy channel was more or less built of its acquisition of Stargate. that's how good and popular the TV series was back in the day.

You don't need abusive parents to want to kill yourself when everything you ever loved has been forcibly ripped from your hands, leaving you feeling utterly powerless and hopeless.
