@Marshal Mannerheim has already addressed this but I'd like to add my two cents about these people's sheer hypocrisy about dehumanizing terms. "Bugman" and "NPC" may be broad and blunt but they at least have some sort of specificity, they each have their own clear definitions and conditions as to when to apply to people. Bugman is supposed to convey the inhuman hive-mind mentality of insects, the horror of humanity being stripped away and is applied to individuals who are proudly rootless, surrender their individuality to corporations and revel in material consumerism. NPC was originally a shitpost meme about people who had no internal monologue was an observation about people whose thought processes could be summarized in the simplest of flowcharts, before idiots from all spheres turned it into "anyone who disagrees with me is a dum-dum". Regardless of how hurtful or hateful they were, they at least had meaning. Then you compare it with something like CHUD or "MAGAts" which are literally just broad, non-specific articles of indiscriminate hate. They mean nothing other than "fuck this person I don't like". But of course with these types, it's always okay when they do it.Skunk Angel comes out in defense:

CHUD and MAGAts actually do have a somewhat well defined meaning, though. CHUD is short for "cannibal humanoid underground dweller", being nominally used to refer to alt/dissident right types associated with 4chan and 4chan like imageboards(which have a self-admitted fame of being crammed with basement-dwelling weirdos not unlike Bob himself), albeit, like NPC, it scaled to mean anyone the user doesn't like. MAGAts, likewise, is a jab on Trump supporters, particularly(if urban dictionary is correct) those that invaded/supported the invasion of the Capitol.
