Nah, I think my take is probably closer to what he meant. Keep in mind from tweets that don't come up often enough, he does view science as a tool to enforce man's will on the universe rather than a word we use for people discovering more of how the universe works. Bob probably would have an interesting relationship with the concept of god complexes considering he believes a strong enough desire can shape reality.

Being as generous as I wanna be, the concert was scheduled back in July so it's possible that he bought tickets back then before his alleged financial woes.
