What a dork lol. And yes, fat jokes are fair game for Bob. Has this faggot not seen how Bob speaks of those who dare to disagree with him?

You know what's a moral quandary worthy of TOS Star Trek?

Would you go back in time and persuade Gene Roddenberry not to make Star Trek because the "Superior Future" would inspire people like MovieBob? Would you persuade him to, knowing you'd be erasing some of Mike Stoklasa's happiness, too?
No. Don't blame Roddenberry or TOS/Trek for MovieBob's exceptionalism.

Star Trek's vision of the "superior future" ultimately wasn't due to the technology, but to the fact that humanity as culture had finally moved on from base, tribalistic petty disputes and agreed to work together to explore the stars. Humans were far more cordial and diplomatic than the ones you'd expect to find today. Even badasses like Kirk always ultimately tried to resolve conflicts peacefully - even if he did have to do a few badly choreographed fight scenes and get his shirt ripped in order to get there - and the Federatiion almost never tried to forcibly impose their beliefs or culture.

It was an aspirational and inspirational picture of human culture and what we could accomplish, that acknowledged our flaws but also wondered at the possibilities of what was out there, and what we could learn.

Now compare that to MovieBob and his attitudes and beliefs, his focus on "thinkers vs believers," and his calls to exterminate the Mayo Ghouls, and how all of that is based on the assumption that he already knows all that there is to know. Bob and his attitude gets him asspats here in the early 21st century, but he would receive no such luxury by people in Star Trek's 24th century or even 23rd century. He would be looked upon as a truly vile, obnoxious, and insane person that everyone would do their best to avoid, if not condemn.

Bob would be more like Colonel Phillip Green than Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

I said it once and I’ll say it again.

He’s The Prophet of Truth from Halo: a narcissistic, egotistical, delusional, sexless asshole fascist who wants to genocide humanity to achieve fame.

Bob's always so angry. We should all pitch in and buy this fat nigga some tranny hookers. Dude can finally get spitroasted like he always dreamed of, lose his virginity, and maybe post a non-hostile or slightly less smug tweet.
I'm pretty sure forcing somebody to have sex with Moviebob is listed as a war crime by the Geneva Convention. If not, it should be.

I'm sure this has been discussed already in this massive ass thread, but I still don't get what the fuck his current twitter name means, and I kinda get the urge to punch him for comparing himself to one of the most legendary film directors of all time, even if it's as his weird idea of some kind of joke or wordplay

People were roasting him for having a shitty take about the director Kurosawa and he tried to snark his way into a W. Didn't work and now the name makes no sense.

@Ralph Barnhardt said:
It wasn't him directly. He was coming to the defense of an angel, the furry sloth guy I think or Ashley Lynch (doesn't matter really) because said angel had some stupid take implying that Kurosawa helped create the current climate of Snyder bros' bigotry and hate because Akira's movies are long.

You are both right. I've traced the story here. At first Bobby was defending the honor of Sean MacLaggan ("Ashley Lynch"), who claimed that Seven Samurai was the go-to excuse of "masturbatory filmmakers" (read: Zack Synder). Pretty soon Bobby started sprouting nonsense himself, such as Kurosawa wasn't influenced by Shakespeare, and that Seven Samurai has little merit as a film and has just happened to be hailed as a masterpiece by dudebros. He was of course savaged, but instead of taking an L and walking away quietly, he wore his swirlie-scar like a badge of honor.

(For some reason I cannot reply to many people, including, @Ralph Barnhardt, or include their posts in quotes. What gives?)

Likewise, what Bobby calls "MAGA trash" are, if not exactly "treasure", at least contributing members of family and society. This is much more than can be said about Bobby.

@Positron I'm having the same issue with being unable to reply/quote directly to some posts including some of your most recent, and also @Ralph Barnhardt 's but I think the common denominator here is it seems to only do that where there's more than two people being quoted in the post and/OR a lot of screenshots. Maybe it's a recent farms screwup related to something avoiding making multiquote/image posts that just loop back into each other that can crash someone's wooden computer/internet?

Also of course Bob is cool with hoarding collecting, after all he "collects" beer cans to build into giant stupid pyramids for some reason.

Bob doesn't even understand the "replacement" concept fully. "Replacment" doesn't mean "adding more people", it means "adding more different people while doing away with other previous people". "Replacement" in the sense of some people just plain outbreeding/out-immigrating is only a problem if the people coming in have such an incompatible-with-democracy mindset that the country itself would cease to be a Liberal Democracy. And that's even with all the commie teachers Bob has overly-optimistic faith in for turning imported Believers into Thinkers.

Yeah, I can't quote Positron's post either.
Some users have posts without the reply function, even past the Bob Chipman thread. Possibly a bug.

Also, pretty pathetic for Blobbo to focus on a cartoon intended for kids, while he's a 40 year old.

@Godzilla@1989 He'd make a pretty shitty version of Truth. He lacks charisma compared to him.

@Positron Chalk me up as another one that can't reply to your posts. I always appreciate you swimming through Chipman sewage so the rest of us don't have to. Thanks for sharing this:

Is it a lack of discipline or talent that keeps Bob's version of Strawberry Shortcake meets Upton Sinclair's The Jungle from being the next Netflix abortion?

Who is this Dana Schwartz? Is there reason that she didn't include "your ideas are fucking retarded and nobody will ever pay you for them" as one of the options?

I cannot quote or reply either *sigh* so for future reference this is taken from @Positron's latest post.

I've said my piece about this stupid ass thing already so what I wanna point out is Bob's wording on the last tweet.
1630494439682.png

I watched it to see if there was some sort of colab but was immediately caught off guard when his review proper starts, which starts 45 seconds in after the tl;dw synopsis and that alone is hilarious in it's own right, he goes for about a minute talking about the meta narrative of the MCU and movies and shows that are not Shang-chi before he even mentions Shang-chi. Our boy Bob spends a sixth of his review giving pointless industry backstory and speculation that tells me nothing about the quality of Shang-chi. It is at the 2:50 where he actually starts talking about the plot. He says verbatim that pull quote that I bitched about on his Rotten Tomatoes review. He didn't write it just for that. It's part of his script. Bravo Bob, bravo. The review actually ends at 6:06, meaning that there's 32 seconds left of more non review. There's no stinger or any talking. It's just "credits", adds for his patreon and redbubble store and a throbbing picture of Morris
1630495543474.png

I can assure you that it does indeed throb.

Having completed it, there's no indication that there is or was anyone else who worked on it. I'd say that it might be a typo on his part but "our" is a fair bit off from "my" so who knows what's really going on?

Yeah, I can't quote Positron's post either.
Also, what the hell is going on with the reply buttons?
@Positron Chalk me up as another one that can't reply to your posts. I always appreciate you swimming through Chipman sewage so the rest of us don't have to. Thanks for sharing this:
It is a site-wide bug and it seems to affects every post that exceeds a certain length (my guess is 1000 characters); quotes and the numbers of screenshots appear irrelevant except they increase the post length. As Null is reportedly on vacation we're going to live with this for some days, so make an effort to keep the conversation going. Repost my screenshots if necessary; I don't need credits but you may mention me in case idiots give you an alarm-clock rating.

Bobby is still on his posting spree.

If there is one thing that rejuvenates Bobby, it is arguing with Synder fans.

Glenn Greenwald explains how the media keeps manufacturing stories to keep the left and right at each other's throats, so they would ignore how power is actually distributed and what really matter in their lives. You can see one avid consoomer of such stories in this thread, who happens to have no life and thus nothing that really matters.
