Rogue was pretty good to his patrons outside of discord, at least compared to other commentators. He’d usually provide content updates at least twice a week, which is more than can be said for people like deadwing and dillin.
Fucking GOOD. I already forget what I said in this thread but I'm pretty sure it was something along the lines of "if he does come back I hope he learned from that disaster of a decision". Guess he did learn. I already archived almost all of his old stuff in offline storage and will enjoy his new stuff most likely going forward.
If she is smart she'd stay away from all of this, it seems that she is making herself hard to find......good.
I think I'd be fine with just Rogue and Pro, Asterik made a lot of the content by being part of the "comedy skit" I guess you could say(all the goat bitch talk during streams), but my thoughts are still up in the air on how real any of that was. Obviously a lot was fake but while lurking about I saw claims in Skyling's server that behind the scenes some of the abuse was unironic.
As much as I like Asterik and the art I commissioned from her, I think it's better she just rebrands and works on her art, doing maybe a guest stream here and there but not be a prominent figure. She's a good artist and I think her talent would be better utilized working towards getting outta her dead-end job and working on herself.
It's not "simping" if you enjoy a woman creator for the content they bring to a project lol.
I've gotta agree. As funny as the banter was between her and Rogue, she's a lot better off not coming back. It sounds like she may want to be taken more seriously as an artist and being associated with Rogue's content may do more harm than good. I mean sure she would still probably get some work from Rogue's fanbase but if she wants more widespread appeal, it's probably for the best that she doesn't return or at least, not as a regular part of the main cast.
Agreed. I remember her talking about her depression as well and it feels like her dead-end job was really getting to her. I too think she has talented, her art improved quite a bit and I feel like she could be a successful freelance artist, she just has to try to get her name and work out there and build a reliable client-base and unfortunately I feel she can only go so far with it being tied to Rogue's content that just isn't for everyone.
Yeah, it really wouldn't be the same without asterik. Propainkey I honestly don't care because half the time he's a drunken idiot. If not Asterik, though, then he needs to pull BlackBrains or something... someone who can act as his comic foil to keep things entertaining. Duos and trios always work better than solo acts.
Okay so basically they started doing this thing where they would watch old Chris videos together, Rogue really didn't like it or really got compensated but it was on Dillin's channel with most of the views winding up being from Rogue's fanbase, and one day Rogue had some health issues occur on top of irl issues and Dillin basically was a massive bitch about it and cancelled the whole thing then a few months later had a massive spergfest with Rogue demanding to talk to him and eventually Rogue caved and had told him he would bring in a mediator but Dillin refused to have one and it lead to Rogue honestly just being really petty and bodying Dillin hard to the point where after 20 minutes Dillin left crying,. Rogue admits no one looked good during it and that it was a retarded waste of everyone's time.
Rogue had poor commentator chemistry with Dillin on his CWCville podcast, where they basically did more or less the thing Rogue already was doing with Asterik except with the comics. He stayed because I believe Dillin had a larger audience at the time so he probably thought of it more as a networking opportunity to get more viewers on his channel, and Dillin didn't see it as strictly business. Cue him taking the whole thing personally, Rogue saying on his stream that they weren't friends and Dillin wasn't his girlfriend so he didn't have to give any particular reasons or answers for leaving. Basically high school tier drama, their fans acted like it was a divorce arc or smth
There seems to be evidence out there from what I've heard that there is more to Rogue's story but I don't have any outright proof of it. Of course, it could be hearsay but either way, it's difficult to determine. If there is, nobody seems to be aware accept those who speak ill of him, whether it's true or them just trying to gain clout.
