Rolling Coal

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
It's something you see occasionally with the lifted pickup crowd. It's obnoxious and nothing more.

I have never seen anyone do this before. It's probably a handful of dumbasses in Appalachia.
The picture in the original post has Arizona plates, but I have never encountered them before. They're probably more limited to the small towns out in the middle of the desert and not the city so much. Except for maybe Phoenix, but I hardly go up there.

Lived in Phoenix for nearly a decade, never encountered anything like this.

I live in Baltimore and see guys like this occasionally. I think it's gross and rude regardless of what your political stance is. It;'s one thing to just own a diesel truck that happens to be smokey--another altogether to modify it to belch smoke at people on command. It's like blowing cigarette smoke in someone's face just because they think smoking is icky. Even if someone is an anti-smoking evangelist, it's not polite to blow smoke in their face if they're being annoying to you--it's gross, it's unhealthy, and it makes you the much bigger asshat. To oppose policy is one thing, but to do it in the most assholeish way possible is, well, stupid, and it makes your position--whatever it is--look stupid, too.

You're totally entitled to behave this way if you want to, because AMURRKAH and stuff. But I'm also totally entitled to think that you enjoy sexual congress with relatives and farm animals with your tiny little button-mushroom peepee because of it.

I don't get why it's called "rolling coal". Do they mean "rolling" like rolling a joint, or do they mean it like "rolling" on X?
