Sad they cut it down. I wanted 200+ pages of seething about how Clarance Thomas is a fucking nigger, and how the South needs to be nerve-gassed.
It's where it was going I'm sure. Shame really. I have sympathy for the pro-choice lot since really there should have been a proper legal codification for abortion especially where medical matters necessitate it but they just rested smugly on Roe vs Wade.

But seeing various bastions of liberal views flip out and drop the racist slurs like it's...well this place has been depressingly amusing.

Institutional shifts or turnover are a massive leftist blind spot because they act like once an institution has been captured by them it will remain their's in perpetuity.

RBG more or less warned that this was all but inevitable.

Roe v Wade/supreme court thread remains locked, likely for the next several days while the user base loosens their white-knuckled grip on their pearls.

Meanwhile, in the even more hysterical spin off thread about the imminent dissolution of the Union:
And so the unstoppable force meets the immovable object. Given the ideology promoted on RPGNet, what correct response to the SC rulings can there be other than to go full terrorist? But now, now at last, after endless waves of bans filtering out anyone but the most rabidly leftist, the admins are starting to realize that there's a slight problem when you cultivate fanatics who believe in no bad tactics, only bad targets but you need to avoid fedposting for liability's sake.

The forum has to keep a lid on the explosive anger of their userbase even as they've removed anyone who doesn't share their extremism, like ejecting the control rods from a nuclear reactor. They've been chanting for years that silence is violence, the system needs to be torn down and if you're not actively working to do that you're an enemy worse than Hitler.

I have a feeling the coming era in RPGNet history may be the most entertaining. If large numbers of posters decide that the mods are now the problem for "censoring discussion of social injustice" and that correcting this is worth going kamikaze with their accounts, what will they do? Ban 80% of their users?

RPGnet has claimed its first casualties from the radical seethers.

I suspect that they'll take a page out of KF's playbook and disable registrations for some unforeseeable amount of time, leading them to be more insular than they are now. Whichever janny is in charge of banning sockpuppets/dissidents is probably not going to last long and request demand no more new users.

That isn't even radical, there's not a single call for any unlawful action or revenge against anyone. These jannies are absolute mongos. I guess they ran out of people to ban but they have to get their ban boner every day anyway.

The only line in there that I could see that could be interpreted that way if you squint hard enough at it was the line about the liberal judges not eating the fish. But it was thrown in with a bunch of other unlikely scenarios of happenstance. You could only interpret that as a threat or call to violence by giving it the worst possible reading.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised by that, it was one of the more well-reasoned and laid out plans for how the left can win in these conditions and I guess it was a little too realistic and not performative enough

Fucking love how every mod message starts with: “The situation is DIRE but…”

Oh yeah, dire indeed! SCOTUS made a decision that doesn’t affect them, and won’t ever affect them since these neckbeards aren’t getting laid.

At first I thought there might be some “show up at a protest march-get a sympathy handjob from a fat feminist for being a good ally”-scheme.

But then I realized these fat fucks are unlikely to ever get out of the house and go to one.

Which leaves bubble thought and LARPing as a reason. It won’t be long before they start writing about gas chambers and start imagining the future memorial for their “resistance”.

Except instead of piles of glasses and suitcases like in Auschwitz, it’ll be 6 feet tall piles of D12 abd D20 dives and Shadowrun campaign books.

Fuck these sad faggots, and fuck them for what they did to a hobby I used to enjoy.
