RPGNet confirmed Thalamor sympathizers.

"Its racist to judge an entire race by their worst members, now let's get back to discussing how white people are inherently racist."

And then they wonder why they're all anxious, depressed, and miserable all the time.
One day some poster is going to snap and just start spamming ELVES ARE FAGGOTS ELVES ARE FAGGOTS ELVES ARE FAGGOTS until the permaban hits.

This problem came up several times in ancient RPGNet history (mid-2000s), since Tangency already had a collection of depressed mutants egging on each other with extreme negativity. The mods tried to intervene, but it was found that gentle advice amounting to "step away from your screen a little" was problematic, so nothing happened. As the self-loathing mutants slowly took over and bent site policy to their will, it eventually became banworthy to talk about mental illness in any way that wasn't accommodating.

Thing is, what do you do when you keep building up negative emotions like fear, anger, and resentment if expressing them is forbidden? You just stay fearful, angry, and resentful all the time till it consumes you from the inside out.

What's funny is, if you take the time to look at the posts of current moderators from before they became monosyllabic copy-paste drones, there is a lot of hilarity, most of it stemming from them being unable to relate to the opposite sex/ignored for life and being compelled to make threads about it as a last ditch effort for some level of affection. I guess eventually the loneliness and angst just becomes a constant thrumming sound in your mind...that's when you know you have achieved RPG mod status.

Or even now you have that one Greek poster who keeps a running thread about how yes, he's still a forever alone shut in who can't find a partner. And people just respond with "Oof that's rough, vibes!" instead of any helpful advice or suggesting he change anything about his life.

Edit: this dude

But that would fall under the category of "doing things". Can't have that now.

been lurking on RPGnet for a bit. As a TTRPG guy for a few years, this community is trash enough without extreme feminism. Just made an account, lets see what happens.
