Nobody talks about rape or horrific crimes in any high fantasy setting (unless it's dark fantasy) but it can be implied to exist. Like of course in DND there's orc tribes that are vicious and rape and pillage but that's not the focus because most people care more about their fun adventures fighting zombies and demons.

But in Gielinor? No this faggot INSISTS that even if there are murderous cruel demons or humans they won't ever call you a tranny; that would be a bridge too far!

The spirit stamp ability will potentially be cool if it ever gets implemented but that quest is obviously going to be mostly someone else's work.

He also posts personal shit on his profile (like some team rocket cosplay) and the dude's a fuckin twig, makes me think he tried to be a Twink and then trooned out like Dylan Mulvaney. I wonder how long until people find his actual personals and find out he's in r/littleboykisser or something.

It's the easiest way to compel people to stick around. The new primal ores above daemonheim will be neat to see what comes of that, but the "better" option is to make new PvM content and slap the equipment that would have been craftable or obtainable with some production skill behind a 1/10000 (1/2500 on task) drop rate.
 
Info on the Boss Dungeon (A) dropped:

1 to 4 players.
Low to mid level PVM content.
Normal mode will have an alternate death scenario: takes killed players out of the fight for a period of time instead of a traditional death or 'free' death.
New combat beta for Magic changes from 30 May to 6 June.

T95 Magic DW concepts (copied verbatim):
Wand / Orb set 1 - First effect would be generating a stacking buff using non basics then consuming that buff using basic abilities for increased adrenaline. With the second benefit building off the first and giving a flat cooldown reduction for Wild Magic when the buff is consumed giving players a more stable flow of damage and adrenaline.


  • 1 - Non-basic abilities generate 2 stacks of Insatiable for 3.6s. Basic abilities consume Insatiable, increasing adrenaline gain by 25%. (from 8->10 not 8→33)
  • 2 - Consuming Insatiable reduces the cooldown of Wild Magic by 6s.



Wand / Orb set 2 - The second set effect would be building off from the first set but instead of a stable flow of cooldown reduction it would be a more powerful RNG effect.


  • 1 - Non-basic abilities generate 2 stacks of insatiable for 3.6s. Basic abilities consume Insatiable, increasing adrenaline gain by 25%. (from 8->10 not 8→33)
  • 2 - Consuming Insatiable has a 25% chance to refresh the cooldown of Wild Magic



Wand / Orb set 3 - An alternative playstyle of increasing Damage over time effects that ramps up in power the more you stack this new debuff and adds effects like refreshing their cooldowns, or making them hit instantly.


  • 1 - Damage over time abilities deal 30% more damage. (only combust/corruption shot affected as the only DOT magic abilities)
  • 2 - Damage over time abilities generate Essence Corruption with each hit.
    • Maximum stacks: 100
      • 1 Essence Corruption stack: Your Damage over time abilities have a 30% chance to empower, dealing the damage instantly and refreshing their cooldown.
      • 25 Essence Corruption stacks: Deal bonus damage against enemies (100% of stacks + 100% of your Magic level).
      • 50 Essence Corruption stacks: Basic abilities generate an additional 3.6% adrenaline over 6 seconds.

Planned swapping DW/2H for Conc/Gconc and Sonic/Gsonic to reduce switchscape and give staves a crit identity to synergise with FsoA. They want feedback because it could cause a market panic.

I haven't got the energy to analyse the entire post, including Mod Jack's meme references and quips (he's pulling the 'how do you do fellow players', but we've known for a while there's no cracking his arrogance).
  • M&S for now. Other skills slowly raised to 110 over the next couple of years
  • Effectively one new tier (100-120) which'll be Primal (from Daemonheim)
  • Primal 2H sword
  • Primal can be smithed to +5 and made into burial armour/sets. Non-augmentable
  • Primal armour will be melee tank. Base t85 -> +5 t90

  • T100 augmentable pickaxe will retain E&S augment level and perks (old news). 100 Smithing & Mining to make and use. Same stats as Primal +5, but augmentable and untradeable. They've said that E&S has a Pen of 225 too. A mistake or readjusted Pen values. (I'm paranoid. It shouldn't affect gameplay if it's a typo)
  • Novite -> Promethium will be released as parallel ores which smelt to make Primal. Unsure if they'll have equivalent armours/weapons/tools on the surface
  • Primal ore box (upgraded from Elder Rune...which makes no sense)
  • Masterwork 2H sword at 110 smithing. WIll require The Heart and KK bosses' drops, and Chaotics to keep them relevant. Has no special attack or passive. Requires 99 Attack to wield and it'll be a t100 weapon. Augmentable
  • Primal stone spirits which'll work on all Daemonheim ores

The new Mining and Smithing stuff doesn't really interest me nor does Osseous. The only thing I find myself remotely interested in at all is the skilling boss but that alone probably won't encourage me to play RS3 again. I wanted to see more growth outwards instead of more shit dumped over the top of what already exists. OSRS went west so have RS3 go further east with the Eastern Lands and beyond. That kinda stuff.

I did start playing OSRS again. I've dabbled it in the past but never stuck around long enough to get into OSRS exclusive content. What I'm really waiting for though is Brighter Shores. I want to give Andrew's new game a spin.

I remember the Gower bros. were against MTX, but had to yield with RuneScape. I hope they keep their new game MTX and politics-free, but given the current era that might be asking for too much.
