Vermyx, Kezalam and REDACTED. Watch, that last one will either be Nomad or Magister except they're a Soul devourer now.

Edit: If anyone remembers this blast from the past, Arcanists releases on Steam on the 15th.


Arcanists was a Worms clone with a wizard motif and was operated by Jagex on a separate website named FunOrb.

I agree. I'm not against the absolute trove of cosmetics out there but all the giant drakes and gorillas and other legendary pets get annoying, and the wings I find to be obnoxious. I did like that one aura from years ago I think that was a limited time XP boost. There may have been two of them, but they gave you wings while it was active. That seemed fair since it was a little booster, vs people with these faggot rainbow trails and massive obnoxious wings.

What a blast from the past. I wonder who made it. I don't think Andrew Gower owned the rights to FunOrb games since he left Jagex.

It's still possible to play some of the single-player classics here. There might be a more up-to-date alternative somewhere else, but I haven't looked into it.

I pulled an all nighter playing it last night. It's every bit as fun as I remembered and more since development was continued and new spell books were added. Thankfully, unlocking all the spellbooks doesn't actually require ranked games. You can just drop into unranked party games and as long as you stick around till the end, you'll get wands to unlock books and spells. You still have to prestige to unlock access to Cogs and the newer books but you're given an entire spellbook of your choice and refunded 50 wands to pick up whatever else you may need. It isn't until prestige 2 that you have to struggle to make progress like in the old game.

So that's +10% (base?) damage for 10.2s & +150% ability damage in an AOE over time. I don't think that's much better (if at all) than Ful.

Considering she's chilling at the bar in the underworld now and when you press her she doesn't even join your soul well, I think Zanik is officially done. I think bringing her back for archaeology was mega retarded when the quest line ended with her being given a second chance for a short term, and then being able to remain in the underworld if memory serves. They don't have to kill her off completely, she can remain in Um as a "oh right remember this character" thing.

Anyone make enough money playing this shit that they can give me a bond? I can afford them I just don't want to give Jagex money ever again. (edit: for osrs obviously im not a fag)

I think I can give you one but you'd have to redeem it in RS3 and breathe air with the fags for a moment. I don't have enough wealth in OSRS that I can give you one there. Thankfully, membership is shared between games so you can skip off back to OSRS as soon as it's claimed.

rs3 literally wont let me log in through the faglauncher without disabling my vpn, wtf.

I discovered I have membership until the 25th since i apparently bought a year last year then cancelled in June after their latest fag update. I'll beg again if I decide to keep playing.
 
The pride fag updates will probably not stop until DEI is fully dead. It's a shame too because they do a decent amount of work on them and you just know that labor could've been spent elsewhere. It's like the microtransaction cosmetics in RS3. I'd totally love to see those implemented in-game that doesn't require a credit card.

Have you tried using a third party client? Runelite is reputable, though I'm unsure if useable with VPN.

Fixed this by either matching the time zone of my PC with the location I chose in my VPN or choosing a location that matches your current time zone
