Though I did learn some interesting info about casinos and training in hospitality for working in one - they are a really weird lovechild of a bank and a hotel. If he had two braincells he'd pivot to doing BOH casino shit with his hospitality degree (if he's even going to school), but Russ acting in his own interest would be one of the signs of the apocalypse, so I won't hold my breath.
Having once upon a long time ago worked for a "gambling establishment" (as they liked to call themselves) I can say that Crusty has absolutely less than a 0% chance of ever working for any casino/gaming establishment/etc... anywhere, ever. In order to work for them you need to obtain what is called a "gaming license" from the gaming commission. The difficulty of obtaining said gaming license is probably just a small 1/2 step below Top Secret clearance because they don't force you to take a polygraph test. They literally dig into every single aspect of your life, your immediate family, your close relatives, etc... going back 20-25 years. The application I had to submit was 40+ pages. If you do have any tiny blemishes, they give you a chance to explain them (which as we know Greeee loves to do). But by tiny I am talking about moving violations that were infractions and nothing more serious. Some of the things they can deny you for is having too many credit cards, and not because you have a balance on them, it's just because you have them, you could run up a balance in the future, and then end up desperate for money, which makes you a huge liability.
The reason this is all so stringent is that in casinos/gamin establishments/etc... are, of course, covered by some extremely comprehensive insurance policies for just about every single thing you can probably imagine. As you can imagine, that is not cheap, and their underwriters require them to limit their risk as much as absolutely humanely possible since this sector of commerce carries some unusual risks that are not seen in many, if any, others. As such, they have to vet everyone that works for them as if they are joining the CIA.
Also, once you are denied for a gaming license, it is permanent. You can never, ever apply again. This is why before submitting your application for review they will go over it quickly with you to see if there is anything really obvious that would exclude you and tell you beforehand how much it will impact your application and make sure you know that this is a once and done thing, and if you don't get it, you're screwed. At that point you still have the choice not to submit an application, or, if its bad enough, they will refuse to allow you to submit the application because you have no hope of succeeding and every application costs them more than $5000 to process because of the extensive nature of the investigation.
I was able to obtain one because I am a dull white boy who has never even had a parking ticket.
They would probably go through the first page of Greeee's application and laugh him out the fucking door as well as have security escort him off property since even having him on premises likely constitutes an unacceptable risk.
