It ALWAYS happens like this they pander for good boy points on Twitter who then demand it's not enough while profits crater as the Silent Majority of paying customers who aren't woke leave them in droves.

I refuse to pay 60$ for 5 episodes of a 60 episode anime on DVD or give streaming services my money so they can pretend to be competitive by buying exclusive licenses. It's a fucking expensive hobby solely because everyone in charge knows they can bleed infinite money out of it.

Edit: Also fuck every cunt that changes the translation when it's not needed in the slightest.

That and they kinda lost customers when they buy the rights to translate an anime and then refuse to do so while hogging those rights.
