After their message to the world, their insistence on their morals and inability to compromise with Ironwood led to the villains winning, global panic on the economy, AN INCREASE IN NEGATIVITY, and a MANUFACTURED REFUGEE CRISIS just so they could shit on what's happening on the Mexico border! (And speedrun the plot so they can get the sword of Destruction)

Why? Because MUH IRON MAN BAD AND MUH PENNY IS A REAL GIRL (And because they didn't bother to pick up after themselves for some reason).

Ironwood is a paranoid moron, don't get me wrong, but his willingness to do the right thing and (and the fact that he actually gave his heart and soul only for him to be stabbed in the back because MUH YOUNGER GENERATION IS SMARTER THAN THE ADULTS HURR DURR WE HAVE THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP THAT WILL SAVE THE WORLD.

Atlas, despite its two-class system that makes the divide between Scranton-esque small towns, urban ghetto Baltimore/Chicago and the NY/San Francisco-esque cities look like Scandinavian utopianism, WAS ONE OF THE MOST PROTECTED AND DEVELOPED NATIONS ON REMNANT. They were the ONLY producer and major exporter of DUST, which makes BULLETS AGAINST GRIMM AND POWERS THE HOMES AGAINST DARKNESS.

THEIR ECONOMY WAS A MAJOR KEYSTONE FOR THE FUCKING PLANET. YOU JUST TOOK DOWN THE WORLD'S LAST REMAINING SUPERPOWER AND YOU THINK A THOR: RAGNAROK REFERENCE WILL SAVE IT? Imagine if one of the writers, possibly Miles, met an actual soldier or war veteran who had a problem with the way the military was portrayed on their show. Do you think they would chew out the soldier and say that he's part of the problem, or cower in fear and kiss the soldier's ass?

I love how all of the anti-Atlas people don't ever think about the blue collar workers that help keep the city running in the first place that possibly died. I know that robotic technology is more advanced in this universe, but you can't tell me that there were only robots doing physical labor, especially when we know the Schnees have a human butler.

RWBY is even worse, as even the villains are too pathetic, unlikeable, and the opposite of entertaining-- a charisma vacuum, for a lack of a description-- for me to want them to win, either.

They are only really charismatic relative to the rest of the cast, which is like saying a dogshit sandwich is better than eating raw dogshit. Its better, but not by much.

Put them in any show with competently written characters and they are flatter and more boring than cardboard.

She is waifu bait, but people also just seem to have a fondness for mute characters. Seriously, think of any character that never talks, and people will most likely have a positive opinion of them. Doomguy, Chell, Link, Samus, Gordon Freeman, etc.

I’m not sure. Watts had some decent motives, characterization, and moments. Tyrian isn’t a complex character, but he doesn’t need to be and he’s pretty fun to watch, especially when he’s with Watts.
One of the biggest rules of making a good villain is to make them entertaining, everything else comes second.

Even non mute ones but don't "talk" such as Hodor, Groot, Chewie, etc. I can only assume because its harder for writers to fuck them up, and in some cases allows you to insert your self in them more easily (Doomguy, Chell, Freeman, etc).

All the calls for Waluigi weren't for what's actually in canon - they were for whatever the person imagined Waluigi to be.
