It kinda sounds like you're the one coping since you started freaking out (next, you're going to claim that the team can take Goku on).
You can continue debating strawmans if you wish. I will not continue this further for the sake of not shifting up the thread

I don't plan to watch the crossovers. But I guess it makes sense that Nora would think the Grimm are a big deal given that's all she knows.

But it RT was trying to state that seriously now that is laughable. Salem and her ilk are a big fish in a small pond. The justice league reguraly deals with villains that are a threat from a planetary to even a multiversal scale.

Salem isn't even the third most powerful sorceress they have dealt with. The Grimm only have an advantage in numbers. I could only see them winning by swarming the heroes all at once. That's it.

They'd possibly win with the element of surprise and numbers. Take that away and they are another villain of the week.

I agree 100% with you.

And to add to what I said earlier, I am not even trying to go full on Death Battle's "who would win in a fight" levels of fanboyism.

I am just saying that it would have been far more mature for Rooster Teeth to have them acknowledge their differences. That while the Justice league deals with more powerful treats, is more powerful and has way more experience ; the RWBY cast braves on in a world that is less peaceful, with them having far less power all while being kids in fighting in a war they are both outnumbered and overpowered

But instead they went with a childish "our franchise is as cools as yours! We even have cooler enemies . Please buy our products."

It really is not much of a stretch to say the average fanfic writer puts more thought into the interactions of crossover characters then rooster teeth. Frankly fanfiction is the only worthwhile thing anymore as characters are put into more interesting and edgy situations then rooster teeth could ever dream of.

A part of me really does hope all vestiges of rooster teeth can be cut off this IP and it's used to make something interesting

But canonically she doesn't (she was introduced riding on a Ursa, IIRC). I mean, they've been effectively one-shotting grimm since vol 5 (very noticeable in Vol 7). Vol 1-4 at least presented them as a threat (rarely for a singular Grimm, but threat in large numbers).

Made even worse that these are being one-shot by a bunch of kids/teenagers/highschool/college dropouts. Along with taking down nearly all of Salem's minions in the V5 finale.

Some Rwby tweets one from Monty’s brother about his bday another from random mostly due the comment from lion like ruby rose. In my opinion i didn’t realize that Rwby ran for 10yrs but god damn it should’ve been wrapped up by now. I mean my god my hero academia is wrapping up after 6 or so years how shit are the writers honestly. Fuckin hell
Edit: sorry for the sperg out

"Future of your work actually looks bright"

Does he know something we don't? As far as I am aware, RWBY is still dead alongside RT, and hasn't been sold, nor are there any plans to continue/remake it

"trying so hard to tell an ambitious story while fighting budget constraints, corporate meddling, and constant misunderstandings."

Translation: Trying to tell a large scale story with no effort to account for their resources, wasting time on shit that doesn't add anything to the show despite knowing they don't have money to burn, and constantly unable to keep track of what happened in their story for more than an episode.

I don't feel sorry for the creators when so much of their hurdles seem to stem from them just refusing to account for the basic hurdles of production that they've been facing for several seasons by this point.

Meddling? You mean Warner meddled? Or is this some “Monty’s vision” bullshit? I’m pretty sure RT was notorious for letting creators do whatever they wanted because they were all friends at the end of the day.

They’re just stringing along the possibility of RWBY still having life because that’s all these people working on the show have left. And RT has some podcasts. That’s it.
