Again, not an absolute knockout, but I remember her looking like somebody you made friends with in school and you’d keep in touch with them after they graduate, even if it’s to say “happy birthday” or congratulate themselves on a major milestone in their life, like getting married or having a kid. We probably all know somebody like that.

Nowadays…good grief, man. Considering all the talk of VAs, I have to think it’s a good thing no RWBY projects are on the horizon because that means I don’t have to worry about Lindsay doing some kind of self-insert games.
Well no, she was never a bombshell but she had the girl next door look to her and I would have hesitated to call her ugly prior to her getting fat.

That's the one. She was also in a crappy gamer girl movie too, apparently.
Come to think of it, the character she played in The Meg was called Jax too...
And the film doesn’t even have a plot sypnosis on its Wikipedia page. And there’s not that many film reviews of the damn thing either, just from some of what I can only assume culture war YouTubers.

Congratulations RWBY and RT, your main character and mascot shares a name with an actress, and she’s more popular. Monty would be proud.

And she even worked pretty hard to lose that weight after having her two kids.

RWBY is conducting a survey:
Ooooh. I suppose this means they're taking the idea of a reboot seriously. I appreciated the way the survey was set up and I used the relevant boxes to tell them to focus on the Fights and the Writing. Hopefully they're not being inundated by a million tumblrinas saying the most important thing about RWBY is being a fanfic setting and friend simulator.

'Perfect for multimedia exploitation' literally just means "There are ideas that can be expanded on" which basically every story that has it's own setting has. It's such a nothing statement pretending to be insightful.

But ask yourself this: would RWBY be any better than it currently is if it wasn’t a web series made by Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum when both were at the height of their respective popularities?

I mostly agree with this, but he's huffing addict-level copium if he thinks Monty Oum's cool fights weren't objectively the best and most important thing about the series.
I wonder if anyone would even know who Monty was if he hadn't passed away. I only watched the first few RWBY episodes because I watched RvB back in the day. The trailer was pretty amazing, but I wasn't a big enough RT fan to know who Monty was. I hadn't heard the name until over a decade later. I also heard he really wasn't good at story, just fights. He basically told the other staff what anime to watch and they just copied everything, but poorly. Ruby's dust shop scene was a shitty copy of the Cowboy Bebop movie. Except in that movie, Spike knew the robbery was happening and went in not giving a shit. RWBY was just kinda a dumb bitch ignoring everything on her headphones, then suddenly turns hero. Many such scenes like this.

I wonder if that was the big Vizpop announcement. That it was coming to Hulu? Like big fucking deal. I mean, Disney is in the toilet and has been hemorrhaging bad ideas, so maybe there's a chance they'd big up RWBY for a movie? They've got a guaranteed massive audience no matter how bad it is, as long as they can keep the budget down. They sorta need a win right now. But has Hulu ever picked up anything at all that Disney then decided to run with? They just seem like the poor adopted bastard child of the Disney congealment.

They did have movie. Crossover with the justice league. Not surprised you haven't heard of it. Hardly anyone did.

I meant like an actual theater release. I pirated RWBY/JL out of curiosity and was not disappointed. It was as terrible as I expected it to be.

It was .. better than Ice Queendom? (I don't think I made it through two of those. That was truly terrible)
