The only good thing about this series are the relatively attractive female character designs, everything else fucking SUCKS.
Not really, there are better examples, and many of these girls' personality sucked, or was retconned to suck hard, or outright killed. Blake is one of the worst examples.

A lot of people here do.
Anyone sane abandoned RWBY long ago, it's unsalvageable. Not even anime could save it.

Giving it fully over to the Japanese and telling them to do whatever they wanted might have done something.

What even is the plot anymore? I am genuinely asking, can someone explain the plot that doesn't sound like something I've already heard from better anime and manga?

The entire Manga of Soul Eater has a better, more compelling plot. Holy fuck.
Same premise BTW. Soul Eater's plot is literally just a group of kids trying to become top tier Maesters & Death scythes (Hunters & Huntresses in training) led by Death (Ozpin) fighting against the forces of Chaos (The Grimm, Medusa, and Arachne's forces) led by the Kishin, Asura (Salem). It's the same thing as RWBY minus "muh racism" where there was only like... two interactions where we saw racism? (both times involving Velvet in Volume 1 BTW), and there isn't some retarded convuluted plot where the ex-boyfriend goes from hunting a betrayer (Adam and Blake BEFORE Adam becomes some incel) to going for his ex.

Literally, I would follow Maka Albarn's journey ten times over watching RWBY because the plots are just that cleaned up.

It's just full of edgy art and facial expressions. It was still good, but the plot at the latter arcs was just, meh. But it had structure, damn it! RWBY, on the other hand, is just bad. Plain bad.
There's nothing worse than a story that starts out with potential and then shits the bed.
