If you're forcing people to crunch to meet self-imposed deadlines for your fanfiction rewrite of a show you don't like, you're a bad director.

I'd say that making his staff work crunch hours is the nail in the coffin: Raymond and the Fixing RWBY project absolutely deserve a solo thread.
I’m not sure since all that comes out is what comes public. At most, they can get added to the OP I think. V5 gave a lot of reasons for a place there.

I think they maybe deserve a highlight in this thread's OP, but there really isn't enough for a solo thread I feel. At least wait until the Reddit or Twitter mob really take the fight to them. They may claim to hate the Farms but their information comes from us whether they admit it or not.

I think we’re the only ones who have come out against Celtic’s little project.

We're also the only ones (as far as I am aware) that are aware of the skeezy behind the scenes shit to the extent that we've been given DMs, I don't know if anyone else has dumped the kinda incriminating stuff that @Rhymes 19 has and I recall her stating that she dumped it here because she knew we wouldn't go full hate mob on them and get them cancelled or whatever.

edit: spelling

Unless her friend continues to spill the beans on a grander scale beyond a select few on RWBYCritics, then yes.

r/RWBYcritics used to criticize their work along with other autists like Jerry Freeman and UoW but became a suckfest after a while, maybe it's because of Floof and Cj having accounts there and their retarded followers outnumbered the detractors.

It's honestly a good decision, we're one of the last few websites that don't do a crusade whenever someone is being a nonce. People these days just don't understand that pedos can't molest children on the internet and the worst they can do is add more charges to themselves once the feds catches wind on their internet shenanigans.

This is correct. I find that kind of mob-stirring petty when at worse he's been a creep to me and a bad writer/director to everyone else. I've wanted to tell some kind of public site because of how betrayed and hurt I felt, but Twitter or Reddit would not only try to ruin his life but also annihilate my reputation into an angry young woman who likes internet revenge. The Farms get a bad rap, but these days it rarely goes into its supposesly daily harassment dox hacker campaigns unless the person really, REALLY deserves it (hi, Isabella Janke). Raymond doesn't. He's also rather right-leaning, and a part of me hopes that if faced with a website he considered an ally, he might do some introspection. He's got plenty of time to turn things around. My hope for Raymond isn't that he's rotting alone, it's that he achieves a more stable, independent, and social life. Hone a skill, find a job, move to an apartment downtown, go meet people, that sort of thing.

As for the question about other people who dislike his work, there's a lot out there I've seen. On RWBY critics I imagine criticism is shouted down because this is the perfect RWBY or something.

@Smith Wesson that looks like a great analysis, will respond in full tomorrow.

I think the issue is that the RWBY Critics feel so attacked by the RWBY fans that they feel like they have to circle the wagons on anything that even somewhat supports their side or else they're going to lose part of their own camp, similar to how troons circle the wagons in their own camp. I really do think it's as simple as "It's criticizing RWBY and therefore it is good".

Oh look it's a video made by the fucker who got salty that he cannot ship qrow and clover anymore. Insults aside, I'm inclined to agree with him but his past RT cocksucking has made him incredibly late to the Silver-Eyes party. Adel Aka and Vex talked about that back when Vol 5 or 6 was new.
How many times does he need to do lame criticisms that don't actually say anything before he loses his RT Shill badge? Is it possible for him to lose his RT Shill badge? Because the dude's basically just a bitchy ex-girlfriend at this point who's upset and lashing out purely because her boyfriend's dickishness inconvenienced specifically her this time.

He's RWBY's version of the consoomer wojak. Up until the death of Clover he was riding RT's dick like a whore strapped on a mechanical bull, he even called team RWBY as his daughters. I even said it back when I was still a newfag in this thread, his content is a void just like his personality. Even compared to Raymond he cannot hold water because at the very least FRWBY can incite discussion that does not simply boil down to "it's so fucking boring" or "well that commentary was pointless".

It could unironically be the case given Monty's tastes.
I'm not even kidding, man. I'm a 90s kid, and even when I was 7-8, I listened to some 90s tunes because nearly everyone in my neighborhood was blaring them out like their own mini concert. The resemblance is both uncanny and off-putting.

They're never gonna capture that "edge". If they even could in the first place.

This and @Smith Wesson 's post make me realize the failure of RWBY music (besides composition) boils down to the fact that it's imitating a genre built on anger but with nothing to rage against. Most metal bands are screaming about very serious, often political or historical topics. RWBY is just too ridiculous to violently yell at, and Jeff is too faux-intellectual to come up with anything himself. When It Falls actually almost gets something with that horrid bridge, talking about politicians in war, but there's just no bite to it because what the fuck does this guy know.

As for Casey, the apple doesn't fall far. "Awake" is complete nonsense, just a string of whiny middle-school level stanzas. There's no story to it I can discern besides "you'll never understand the pain, dad." These are the exact type of lyrics I expect from a 20something upper-middle white girl who dyed her hair and came out as bi in college. Again, there's nothing she's actively raging against, no story or theme. Edge becomes bad when it feels pointless. I remember the song "Face Down" from the 2000s, it has all the hallmarks of an edgy emo-rock song, but the reason it works so much better is because the singer is yelling about domestic abuse, a topic very much worth screaming about. "Master of Puppets" is about substance abuse. When Jeff tried to write a song about alcoholism, we got "Brand New Day" which is a peppy tune that makes addiction sound like being a bit chubby and can be fixed by using that gym membership.

Not sure what metal bands you're listening to. Even as someone who isn't a metalhead, I'm just thinking "what?" Soryy to get too off-topic.

Again, sorry for OT, but here's a video about that song and that band.

I think all that does apply to Casey. Not too sure about the bisexual part though.
