When your service is so bad that Digibro of all fucking people can dunk on you then you should just kill yourself.

Well, this show will clearly shut up all the complaints about RWBY having "only good fights, but janky animation", because now it's done the inverse - lack of spectacular fights, but superb animation.

This show clearly expands on Grimm's threat level by a fuckton, and even brought in a new Huntsman! Though I'm not sure people are going to cry foul over "mUh CuLtUrRaL APROpriaTiOn" from a witch-hat wearing bishie with a pot and dreamcatcher stick.

They better keep expanding on this idea as opposed to just "making it a dream" that Weiss had.

Only got through the first 10 mins, but so far its pretty decent for what it is.

Unless there is something else in the other 50 mins, the fights are WAY better than RWBY proper ever had.

Edit: Finished, it was okay. basically condensing and re-writing V1-2 (with a little V3) in a way more comprehensive and generally better manner.

Pacing was really off in the second half though by it being incredibly rushed, animation was similarly dodgy in the second half, and good lord can we please get to the AU stuff already.

Just watched it, it was pretty okay, most of the first three episodes is just treading old ground in an extremely condensed but more tightly written fashion. The character interaction felt a little stronger, axing the Jaune Arc entirely was nice. I was expecting it to swerve a little harder into an alternate timeline thing a lot sooner than it seemed to be doing, I'm hoping that it stops being RWBY V1-3 sooner rather than later.

Fight scenes were pretty good. Soundtrack was surprisingly understated, which may be a good or bad thing depending on your tastes.

It’s mildly funny how Crunchyroll had the episodes up before RT’s site proper, meaning RWBY fans paying for RT First got completely fucked over.

Anyone who still gives RT a cent deserves to get screwed over tbh.

Your acting like this entire thing is not an obvious move to get the RWBY IP away from those retards in RT to the slightly less incompetent retards in Crunchyroll.

The funniest part of all this is that its a lose lose situation for RT. If it does well, then the IP is getting jacked from them. If it does poorly, then they get blamed for it.

It feels more like filler to generate hype for the upcoming Volume.

Please slow down, I can only dream so much.
For as much talk as it gets, would anyone REALLY want to take this IP off RT’s hands, let alone do anything further with it?

It's a very profitable I.P. with great cross-country pollination. It might not be Pokémon but a company could do a lot worse, especially if it was wrangled away from the retards at RT and really allowed to flourish.

So, how about that Ice Queendom?

I warned you the cultural appropriation thing would happen the moment I saw that dreamcatcher.

Also - calling it now Kyle McCarley will voice Shion the androgynous mofo. Just ask Satan from Devilman Crybaby.

God. ActorsCentral, the simp for actors, is an tard. Like Canonseeker, but without the harassment.
