What were your favorite fights in the tournament?
I like Yang and Weiss vs the skater and the trumpet player. Thought that trumpet player was unique

Jnpr vs the team with the sniper where jnpr is arguing in the middle of the battle.

Penny vs Pyrrha

Neptune and sun vs the all girls team. I know Neptune gets hate by the Reddit, but he’s just this fun character who if they were smart would explore more in depth after beacon.

Interesting. You like larger scale fights that employ tactics and environment and creativity over choreography.

Honestly, the powers in this show are lame.
And they get progressively worse, to the point where they just give up and stop giving characters any. Or, if they do, it's only during a panel or some other obscure interview that they contradict every other time a writer opens their mouth.

Rules and limits. They’re important.

Large scale fights that employ tactics and environment and creativity? There were only two such fights in the entire series. The Nevermore fight and the food fight. Three if you count the docks fight vs Torchwick as large scale.

Honestly RWBY's action peaked with the Nevermore fight and has never achieved the same stellar execution. I've rewatched the first volume at least a dozen times and I still find myself really enjoying it every time it kicks into high gear.

My favorite scene is the gun-kata sequence in Sun vs Torchwick. I know it was ripped off the final fight from Equilibrium, but those few seconds had my jaw hanging open.

RWBY is so bad it's the only not-anime that can claim autism as a superpower thanks to best guy Ironwood,
I love that everyone else got superpowers and all Ironwood got was autism, yet he is still an absolute and complete badass who completely outclasses all of them both in combat and with his objectively far superior (and correct) plans, strategies and an iron fucking will. The only mistake he made was not killing his supposed "allies" who outright betrayed him due to their obscene stupidity.

We will never stop stanning Ironwood.

I will never forgive them for what they did to Ironwood. I was so pleasantly surprised when they got to Atlas and he was actually like, the best man for the situation and totally had his shit together. Only for them to pull the rug out from under all his characterization in the most hamfisted and lazy way possible.

>Aaah a betrayal I'm going insaaaaaaaane!

Give me a fucking break. And then they top it off by giving him super-autism, not only is this NOT a good thing according to new and progressive Rooster Teeth, it is the direct cause of his apparent downfall. Do they just pass guns out specifically for foot shooting at RT headquarters or is everyone there supposed to bring their own?

Miles is too much of a pussy to interrupt his girlfriend making out with another chick to try for a threesome, there's no way he could handle any firearm without crying.

Worse, instead of making the best of the situation & trying for a 3some. Miles is a massive cuck who brings his friends to watch his GF cheating on him with another girl in front of him. He doesn't even have enough dignity to later throw her out the project he supposedly owns.

You know, what I think the problem is with a lot of characters and their powers these days?

Their writers, because the writers are so focused on making their characters, the strongest, prettiest and coolest guy/gal around that limits or rules don’t apply to them.
