Shame to see that someone as talented as ModdedJoker, basically a discount Dishwasher1910, is attached to this project and only draws like a handful of scenes.

Mihoyo/Hoyoverse? I can get behind that, even if they gotta bend over for the CCP. As for "what RWBY should be", I've heard a lot of people say that about Ice Queendom.
I mean, the SH streams after Volume 5 really showed how the artists love to pat themselves on the back. And every public video about FRWBY already leads to pages of content here.
Ice queendom animation is sort of like that style. But mihoyo, even for a Chinese ha ha propaganda game, has some fucking balls with their cutscenes. It’s gorgeous at times. It shows their passion whereas crwby is like how can we make money off this and lesbians uwu.

I’ve played it. It’s great gameplay for mobile, and the crew behind it is REALLY the type who’d put their heart and soul into it. As for story, I’m well behind by now, but I do remember some great parts, although I’m not sure of how you can directly compare to RWBY these days in terms of what’s come and gone outside of stuff with Ruby and Kiana.

Got rather convoluted last time I checked but then again writing isn't really Mihoyo's strongest suite. Still though, it's a lot more enjoyable trying to make sense of the plot than binging RWBY's.
