Basically it’s the same as the show did with revealing Jinn, the only difference being that the action was everyone trying to brace themselves for the train crashing, Ruby hurting her leg in said crash, Ruby going so fast with her semblance time seems to slow around her (this is described as pushing herself to her limits), and trying to save Blake, Neo, and Yang from drowning in a lake.

I was listening to old RWBY music the other day, and it kind of underlined my thoughts on what killed the series. Other than shipping, of course.

If you listen to 'I Burn', and then look into the new shitty Yang themes, they're both so fucking mean.

Like, the songs go from "I'm going to hit you, and you'll have little cartoon hearts around your head." to literally "I'll piss on your corpse."

It's just not fucking fun.

They're trying to capture edgy 90's grunge, which is ironic since the audience it caters to normally hates oldies.

You'd think that they'd realize something as simple but the people running RWBY have no idea what people liked about RWBY as proven by everything post volume 3 being the definition of trying too hard.

The show is 'dark' and 'mature' now so Yang is a huge bitch that does nothing but snip angrily at people and punch them in the face, so her themes reflect that I guess.
