Unironically the best Ruby as a character & RWBY as a series has ever been. I actually dropped the show this season & despite knowing this Ruby won't sustain, I wanna pick it up just for this. All she needs is a live-action played by Ryan Gosling & she'll become the most "literally me" character of this series.

Did... Did RT learn about a different type of antagonistic marketing?

Totally not happening. Jaune has defiled Saint Ruby. He shall be crucified and sacrificed for the purity of the religion of RWBY.

I can only assume Ruby and Jaune’s phase will not last because they saw the memes and who’s making them, and will consider these folks to be “the wrong type of engagement”.

With this rwby volume near its end the terminally online twitter rwby have begun they're attempt to get v10. Also on another note rwby found its way into the mainstream. The clip in question is rwby yelling at the others

That time again.
-The thought process of Jaune's storyline came from seeing the girls and thinking it was boring for them to just see Jaune, and wanting to show someone coping with the events of V8 differently, and who has been there for years, and it was another thing they couldn't just do on Remnant (like just age them up and experience what Jaune has).

-Eddy mentions it felt really good to show Jaune as a character in a fairytale, because he always wanted to be a hero, and he's learned maybe that it looks different than he thought at different points in the show, and now he's thrust into the role, and it went so badly for him.

-Eddy mentions one of the things talked about in the writing process was a Groundhog Day scenario of Jaune playing the scenario because it buried the wound of what he had to do in V8.

-Lindsay feels that Ruby and Jaune ae two sides of the same coin.

-Lindsay likes taking Ruby to different emotional areas not touched on before. She calls this "a pure explosion of a lot of emotion" that struck "anyone and everyone". She says there will be repercussions for Ruby's breakdown.

-Kerry mentions that there has been internal talk and fan questioning about when Ruby's breakdown will happen, and he says this is the start.

-Eddy says that the first time he heard Lindsay say the lines of Ruby's breakdown, he felt it went better than any way he could have thought when he wrote them into the script, specifically pointing out the "Gotta stay positive" and the last line of "Shut up".

Let Jaune not be emotionally tortured for one season, Christ.

Also more meme.

I really don't hate what they've done to Jaune with taking care of all those paper babies. It's very in character, and somewhat fits his "I have to be a hero" narrative.
However, like everything else in Rooster Teeth, they do shit after the ship has sailed. Fans have theorized about Ruby's hypothetical breakdown since the end of V3. It's too late at this point. She's carried that toxic positivity and naivety for so long, that I personally can't feel sorry for her during the breakdown. She was the one who decided to recruit her friends to save the world, and while that's admirable, she did choose to do this. I've seen fans on the internet arguing heavily in favor and heavily against both sides of the Jaune Vs. Ruby argument, but the writing team actually did an OK job with portraying that "They're both kinda right and kinda wrong."

Do you guys think Yang beats Blake with the metal arm?
Also, for the crime of raising his voice in anger against a woman, Jaundice shall have his hands struck off and eyes gouged out.

Likely a heroic sacrifice. Either stay in that wonderland ripoff, or just die suddenly offscreen. That's how sacred the almighty goddess is.
