So everything else that could have happened in V8 was fixed offscreen. Fantastic. Honestly, I’m cool with this being ended now because I’m desperately looking for a way for this to be done.

Honestly it still has potential and recognition, but it needs to be offloaded to another company as soon as possible with no strings attached.

They need to do something like gundam where every season is a different verse or interpretation of the characters for people to give a shit again.
 
I truly feel bad for Monty Oum.

The guy wasn't a good writer. And his work was flashy, and dynamic , but ultimately the equivalent of some McDonald's ice cream. Tasty, but ultimately not filling.

Still, I sincerely doubt current RWBY is what he dreamed off when he spent all that extra unpaid work, and sleepless nights doing "his own anime". It's worse than some cal arts kiddie cartoons on cartoon network. People cared more about The Owl House,lesbian shipping included, than this. Let alone RWBY be compared to big animes names such as Demon Slayer or My hero academia.


The only thing that has improved is that they use MAYA so the show looks more sharp. Still. Ignore the poor writing that goes nowhere for a second. We all know it's bad. But at least it used to look good.

It doesn't even have that anymore. It's even barely eye candy anymore as all the new models are hideous, SJW women can't look good levels of dull, and the characters move with all the grace of a fat guy running after a McDonald's soda refill.

All the minority Rooster teeth fans are still clinging to empty gimmicks: A poorly made cliffhanger that was ignored for a filler season, that filler season that didn't solve said cliffhanger, a last minute lesbian ship to try to draw Interest in an unpopular show, poorly made crossovers with DC superheroes etc.

Everyone else just moved on. And it shows. Nobody talks about RWBY.

Ironically the best hope RWBY has to succeed is that Rooster Teeth fails.

WB should just give it to the one of the hundreds or so competent writers they have in their employ. Or maybe give it to the japanese for a full anime instead of a special.

Reboot it or just kill it. Whatever. But the idea that RWBY can be somewhat successful without massive changes is pure delusion.

It isn't delusion - it's cope.

The RT Studio folks know their careers are over if RWBY gets picked up elsewhere. WB, Crunchyroll, Adult Swim, whomever - is not going to be bringing the studio with them. Miles and Kerry are 100% after driving RWBY into the dirt and the lack of professionalism the rest of the team enjoys (loose goals, deadlines, VAs who have other jobs, VAs with OnlyFans, working the entire story around a 'famous' cosplayers schedule) is absolutely gone.

When that's gone - so is any clout they have and they know it, which is likely the main reason they want it to keep going. If they really cared, they'd let it go.

I would argue, the only way RWBY may have a shot at existence and with competent writers, would be to retcon volumes 5 to 9 as some dream or some shit. Idk man. It's just absurd with RWBY and its existence.
 
As someone that liked the early seasons, just kill it all and cannibalize as much of the concept as humanly possible to try and make a new project. There's no amount of work that could be done to fix any of this. We've passed the point of no return years ago.

Can RWBY fans take 20 fucking minutes out of their day to watch literally anything else that's animated? For all the shit capeshit movies are deservingly getting, you could go watch the new Spiderman animated movie, and experience something that dwarfs RWBY to such a degree that you'll go back in time and killer yourself with razor wire to avoid posting something this fucking retarded.
