Honestly, Adam's Volume 5 outfit reeked of Tetsuya Nomura and likewise for Nora's outfit in Volume 7.

Blake's many zippers might be preferable to whatever the fuck that monstrosity of a burlap sack Yang had turned into an outfit, which looks like a retarded version of Cindy's outfit from FF15 minus the hat and fanservice.

Imagine comparing Trump supporters to ISIS. Remember when a bunch of MAGA guys when around committing genocide against Catholics, Muslims and Jews? or those times where they rounded up Transgenders and beheaded them on video or put them in cages and set them on fire? or what about the time that Trump supporters shouted "I love Jesus" as they blew up a stadium filled with teenage girls, shot up a gay bar or beheaded a Priest?

How can you expect subtlety or interesting writing in fiction when the author can't tell the difference between countrymen who disagree with him and those who wish to torture and destroy anything that maybe be an affront to them in real life?

ATLA comics, just like said in the comics thread in art & literature are... man, not worth. The fucking Zuko x Suki one is one of the best examples of giving creative freedom. If only the fucking reason of Zuko searching for Suki isn't a random rupture between him & Mai with a literally NPC... probably it can be pass better but no. If RWBY goes to that path, that must be make sense with whatever shit they want to write.

Gotta love peeking into Fandom discussions just to see the 'Jump to the worst conclusion instantly' responses. "Edgelords just can't handle an anime protagonist who isn't angsty, cynical and morally grey."

People call Ruby naive because her words and her actions are so far divorced from the story she's in that her 'optimism' comes off as her sinking into a deep denial at the terrible situation unfolding. She's not an optimist, she's delusional to the point that her speeches only make sense if we assume she's read the script and is self-aware of her main character status. One finds the silver lining while the other declares it there with blind faith.

It doesn't help that she actively does nothing to actually affect change on the plot in any positive manner or prevent terrible things from happening. She is constantly reacting to terrible situations that she herself helped to create through inaction or having a plan that goes AGAINST the people trying to stop the bad guys (Ironwood and atlas port guard lady who made a giant fuck off robot).

It only makes her speeches look like she is desperately coping with being unable to actually do anything helpful without using her deus ex machina eyes. Of course, this might have been a good subversive character trait if someone competent was in charge of writing this shitshow. But nope, its "inspiring" for...no logical reason.

They've been butchering Avatar once Korra rolled around from retconning Bending and the Avatar, to literally having a shitty comic with one of them co-writing with some Tumblr chick where it's revealed that the Fire Nation used to accept gay marriage but then when Sozin became Fire Lord he outlawed it.

This is where Korra would proceed to call him the worst person ever, not because he committed genocide against Aang's people, essentially leading his nation on a crusade that would scar the world, or left her past life (Roku) die to volcanic eruptions.

Think about that for a second.

Well, if you really think about it for five seconds, saying fags kissing is gross is worse than ethnic cleansing, genocide, comitting war crimes, and permanently throwing the world into a chaotic unbalance.

It's also the fact that despite Ruby being the leader of RWBY, she never leads. She never is the one who makes tough decisions and she never comes up with a plan. The Grimm attack on the train in season 6 she is asked what they should do and instead of saying "Weiss summon something that can attack them in the air and use your glyphs to slow down any Grimm that are not flying, whist Yang and Blake draw attention and..." she just says something like "Don't die, we got this because we are friends"

Apparently she started a GoFundMe for her college and therapy debt (and some morons were gullible enough to donate a foul-mouthed piece of turd like her)

She also outed her real name as Halle Crandall, and openly admitted that she may have undiagnosed high functioning autism like Chris-chan.

Also she deleted her new Twitter account after being rained down by outraged latino folks for racial slurs (But sadly she baleeted everything before I can screencap the shitshow). Her private vent Twitter account remained active though, but it doesn't seem like there's any activity since middle of October so I'm gonna assume she's just abandoned it outright or just migrated to yet another new account to hide from angry people harping on her unfiltered mouth.
