So let me get this straight, this whole autism was written before the main story's beginning itself?

How do you even do that? That's like writing DBZ before OG DB.
I think the idea is more “this is something thought of way back when the show was being developed in the early stages, and only now is the show and it’s creative team getting around to it”.

This person is very desperate to fit Alice in Wonderland so hard, that they ignore what most characters are literary illusions of (Even if it's bare minimum) in the actual story.

But that's the RWBY fandom for you, making the show more big brain than it is in reality.

If it was written well it would have a small minority of contrarians struggling to find flaws, like everything else that is written well.

Not a large number of critics who routinely describe in plain and easy to understand detail why shit doesn't work. You would have to be actively ignorant, stupid, and or really stubborn to ignore these flaws (which describes most RWBY fans to a T).

There is quite a large difference between the two critics.

Look. Even I have to question why people like Adel Aka and Hero Hei continue to put out constant videos about a show they hate. However, RWBY is not the perfect show-- it's not even a good show-- and I can't stand when people act like it is.

This is not a road you want to take. This is just begging for pissy people to just start shitting on EVERYTHING you even remotely like over nitpicks. And after they've driven that coffin into the dirt, they will continue crucifying your every opinion with nitpicks. But please, continue acting like a child, the GG dumpster fire went out too early and I need a good laugh.

It gives them views. And I wouldn't be surprised if it's a mix of them losing out on that sweet revenue and their uncontrollable hate-watch habit that prevents them from stopping. I'm not even sure they enjoy making those videos and would rather make other content (I mean, I don't follow them, but have they talked about anything that isn't RT or RWBY related?).

Wow, I legitimately thought last episode was a finale (it certainly felt like it). Okay here we go.

This is the perfect penultimate episode for a season. I have to say, CRWBY really outdid themselves. In the penultimate, you want absolutely everything to go to shit, and it did. It went to shit hard.

Jin is now useless. Good,

James is on a rampage. I'm not sure why he wants the staff at this point. Does he think that he can raise the city up high enough that Salem would never reach him still? But...no one's left in it. There's focused and heartless, and there's stupid. Just let it go, man, you lost this one.

I am expecting Cinder to betray Watts here. Basically just leave the fucker to die. She says she'll be back, but why would she? I really doubt she's going to run back to that area and save Watts, so I'm guessing Watts is going to do his thing and go down with the ship, which is fine because he will have successfully destroyed Atlas in the same way that Cinder successfully destroyed Haven. Salem will have her second victory, with just two relics to go.

Oh hey, the writers remembered Neopolitan had a reason for joining Cinder three seasons ago. That's c- whoa, that escalated quickly!

Really? Neopolitan is the one who gets first blood on Team RWBY? I don't believe that for a second, especially when JNPR still has 3 characters with Death Flags planted all over them waiting to die. I was actually expecting Nora to bite it this episode with all the flying around she's doing.

Yang falling is just like Cinder falling. (heh) She'll be back. Didn't see the body.

Qrow is going to fight with Harriet next to an armed bomb. That's a great idea. How unlucky can Qrow be?

James toasts Jacques, which is...okay, I guess? Jacques hasn't really been a character in like three seasons. He's barely done anything but sit in prison and whine. I guess the writers just gave up thinking of things to do with him.

Penny continues to be a Reverse Justice messiah-complex dumbass who dives headfirst into danger when her life must be preserved at all costs. Also apparently she loses absolutely nothing for being human now. She can still fly with little ghost fires at her feet, and she can create another set of blades from her Aura, which is basically what Cinder's semblance is, so I'm glad CRWBY is just copy pastaing onto Penny with a green coat of paint.

Oh, I actually forgot this until just now, but she has the staff too. That's amazing, Penny. You're about to hand Cinder her second maiden power and her second relic because you couldn't stick to the plan.

The door opens up into the middle of a sandstorm, and they can't go back the way they came because of phrasing. Classic genie move. Way to go, Ambrosius.

Blake is useless. What else is new? Kinda wish she was the one that got put in the fridge, seeing as Yang actually contributes to the plot and fights while Blake is just a pathetic BLM ripoff who whines about racism. But Blake has cat ears and thus she and her short hair must be protected so Yang has to die, again, after giving up her arm to save a team mate before.

The real ballsy move would be to kill Ruby and turn her into a talking Grimm but there's no way CRWBY would ever think of something awesome like that.

The scene with Jaune and the rock was funny. Occasionally when RWBY is allowed to return to its Volume 1/2 tone it shows its original charm. That requires people not fearing for their lives every moment of every day, which is never going to happen at this point because Salem has zero reason not to just run rough shod over the entire world now.

Oscar did exactly nothing this episode, as did Emerald.

We see Weiss fighting. Weiss continues to be terrible at fighting, and also now she seems like she's stuck hanging in midair or else she'll pull a Yang. Too soon?

I hope Neo kicks Ruby's ass. She is ridiculously competent as a fighter. As the only character in this show that isn't some fairy tale expy, and also the only character in this show who doesn't have a shitty voice actress, I fully support Neopolitan getting her revenge and using the Staff to raise her boyfriend from the dead so they can go off and do petty crimes while the rest of the world is destroyed.
