LMAO Pyrrha died for a power set that went obsolete in record time, and she's still the one character that's better off since she kicked the bucket before they ruined her. :story:
I love how much Cinder talks about the importance of power and views it as a sigh of superiority, yet she's gotten her ass kicked in every major fight she's been in so far (even against other Maidens), and is one of the least respected villains in-universe.

I'm 99% sure someone that's tortured themselves following this way more than me must have brought this up, but... uh, usually, series wait until the current McGuffin's lose all effectiveness before bringing up another set. These retards introduced the "relics" before we finished with the maiden powers.

Why should anyone care about the maidens anymore?

They tried to combine them to make the Maidens a macguffin for unlocking the Relics.

Which just ended up padding the story out more. Why weren't the Relics' powers in each Maiden's powerset? Because, uhh, it'd be cool to have four women with mystical powers! No, it'd be easier for our heroes to collect four objects with mystical powers! Uhh, shit!

It may be a clusterfuck, but you might be able to find some archived content on him in the weeb wars subforum.
Thank you so much for the heads up. I've already begun the thread and have prepared some information, just not enough to warrant a full thread yet. I'll continue working on it. :like:
Can't wait to find out if RoosterTeeth's still been stealing models
I've actually never heard of them stealing models. I'm very interested... which models are you referring to?

Lol, they killed Penny after all that drama with her these last two seasons. Jaune kebab'd her to make sure that Cinder didn't get the maiden powers. Winter's now the Winter Maiden, in the most roundabout way of power acquisition ever.

To literally no one's surprise, the whole of team RWBY (and Jaune, of course) went into the void and are now in Wonderland. Yippee. The rest are left behind in Vacuo, causing the world's largest refugee crisis in a lawless, resource-strapped kingdom that hates the refugees' kingdom of origin with a burning passion. Can't see that going horribly wrong, no siree.

Also RIP to my mans Watts, the only good villain left in this show. Should have been Cinder and not you.

I don't have a link to the next episode, but from what I've heard, it's just as bad as I thought it'd be.

They seriously killed off Penny AGAIN just to give Winter the Maiden powers, which she used to kill Ironwood. It's almost like a metaphor for the show writing off the only two characters most people actually care about. Winter even says it's Ironwood's fault everything's gone to hell.

Also, according to TV Tropes, before the episode even began, they put up the number for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline because of what Penny does. If you have to consider putting that disclaimer before your show, maybe you should rethink a few of your writing decisions.

The Stretchy Dude I don't care about sacrifices himself to stop the bomb while Not-Nora finally helps Qrow talk Harriet out of committing genocide.

Cinder uses the Creation Relic Genie to cause Atlas to crash into Mantle, killing Watts in the process, because that would imply she actually had character development. We never learn what happened to Maria, Pietro, Team FNKI, Marrow, or the Schnee Family, because RWBY has way too many characters.

And obviously the rest of Team RWBY is knocked into the void, along with Jaune and Neo for some reason, and like everyone predicted, next season's going to be an Alice in Wonderland homage. Yay...

Actually, we do know what happened to Williow and Whitney, they're in the desert with most of the other survivors. And Ironwood dies when Atlas crashes.

Still, everything else is on point. But you'd figure they'd spend a little more of their 23 minutes actually on the show and not on the end credits.

So what was the point to any of Penny's arc if she was just gonna killed here and now? To give Jaune more manpain because he finally got over Pyrrha?

And why did Jaune have to fall? V9 was meant to be a RWBY solo adventure, and instead now Jaune's gonna be there hogging the limelight with his little bitchfit about killing Penny.

What a shitty season.

I am not sure if this says more about the RWBY fans or the ego of the "writers" thinking that their show can make such an impact.

So Miles is credited as a writer for the finale. So, we can safely now bring back all the SI Jaune jokes because that motherfucker just copy pasted Volume 3's ending to recycle Jaune's arc.

Honestly, the powers in the RWBY universe are so lame.

I mean the maidens are suppose to be these demigods but their pretty lame compared to other elementals. I mean, Aang, Korra, pretty much anyone from Avatar could trounce them.

Also, aura is a joke.

🪦 to Vine as well.

I know he was minor character but I got to give the man credit. He was one of the only logical people and he sacrificed himself to save his friends and the people.

What? Jaune totally isn't a Miles self insert. Them looking similar and acting similar are just coincidental. Although, maybe if team RWBY all made out in a hot tub and he just sat in the bushes watching the self insert criticisms might be more accurate

Don't forget - because the SDC was the world's only Dust producer, the _entire economy_ of REMNANT was fucked up because they wanted to create Penny's human body and not put the staff back in its place.
