Wait a minute, so did Penny think of Winter in her final moments before death? Why would she do that? And why would Jaune shiskebab Penny and not Cinder? Did they seriously only make Penny human so there'd be no chance of bringing her back from the dead ever again?

Cinder is such a hoe for killing Watts. Like she legit just killed the one henchmen that actually got shit done.

Because Miles and the rest of the writers want Cinder to be a vindictive and petty as possible. That's why we see her knock Jaune and Neo off and burn Watts alive.

Honestly, I was kind of expecting Salem to at least punish her to some extent instead of just going "All is forgiven despite your fuckups".

According to what I've read, Neo was knocked off by Cinder, and Jaune didn't get through one of the portals before the Rainbow Road-esque pathway disappeared.

Pretty much unless they retcon it. Do you think this will get the same uproar that Clover's death got? I've already read some posts about them being mad they killed off the alleged trans allegory after introducing an actual trans character in the show.

I love how villains think murder is the only way they can scold their subordinates for screwing up. It's such a cheap way to write off side villains so the main baddies can actually do stuff for once.

I know, that's why I said that even in anime people hate this shitty trope. Now in some it's just done for lulz, like Frieza in Dragon Ball. But then it's also just done for retarded reasons, like Vegeta killing Nappa in Saiyan Saga (I'm a Nappa fan, bite me).
 
Well good job to M&K. You proceeded to dig an even deeper hole than I expected for my expectations. They literally just copypasta'd Season 3's finale and completely invalidated all the fucking time and retcons to make Penny human (which was a tarded decision in the first place).

How could someone write THIS badly? Genuinely, there are edgy illiterate teenagers who could write a more coherent and interesting story than this.

I'm getting more of a tree of life thing because they look like those ancient Australian plants that haven't changed in millions of years, I thought that's roughly the same place where Salem met the God of Light and fell into the pool but upon looking it up that place looks too different.

He lost his arm for this plan and fully intends to spend the rest of his life in prison after this. His statement doesn't even refer to his own personal sacrifice anyway.
Closing the borders was part of a perfectly reasonable plan that you and RWBY agreed to, from before he went crazy. "Sqeezing mantle until it broke" was either also part of the plan or Watz doing stuff.

There are three fights going on but they are all to people who already lost before so it really looses all the suspense that is supposed to be here. "Oh no I have to sacrifice myself to stop Cinder" you guys already beat her without powers you outnumber her like five to one and she only has one ally that is clearly unnecessary. Ass Op is outnumbered two to one and lost every fight she's been in handily. Winter is the only one who could possibly lose.

Ass-Op sacrifice is too rushed and nonsensical to have any real impact. Like bro you'd die even if you didn't do it so its not really much a sacrifice.

Ruby wears some kind of modesty shorts, show is ruined.

Penny dying again. It was his girlfriend last time who pulled the trigger and that is probably intentional. It had more impact the first time guys. The traitor gets the winter maiden powers just so she can murder ironwood with zero effort or drama. Cool?

Cinder manages to beat everyone despite being heavily outnumbered, then Winter comes in despite having less experience with the powers than Penny meaning there was no reason for Penny to give her powers away if the winter maiden could just beat her.

The show still tries to act as if falling into the darkness has any impact when it is obvious to everyone they arn't going to go for a TPK here.

Ironwood doesn't even get to go out fighting. They could have at least given him one shot on Salem.

Also, I think CRWBY forgot that Winter was the one who suggested Martial Law in the first place.

They also don't seem to grasp that having our main characters show never show any remorse or compassion towards a former ally clearly going through a mental breakdown and only treating him as an obstacle to be stepped over (while already attempting to show compassion and such towards people who have done far worse than him) doesn't make them look good, it just makes Ironwood look even more sympathetic.

He's shedding tears over having to fight Winter while she spares no shits killing the man (I don't care what kind of 'indirect' bullshit they try to use to sugar coat it, she knowingly left him there to die) who's clearly as close to her as family, who allowed her escape from her abusive home and helped her get to where she is today.

There wasn't any reason for the fight either. Winter knew what was going on and Ironwood wouldn't stop it. As far as Winter knew they already sent out the warning and evacuated everyone to Vacuo, so the staff would be safe on the other side of the world. If she just ran through the portal she would have outnumbered him and been able to take him out just as easily as last time without him dying at the end.

Like what was Ironwood going to do after that? Keep shooting at Winter and maybe hitting civilians? Sure possible. But the staff should already be safe and you could just offer it to him since Mantle has already been evacuated and now there is no reason not to do his plan. If Winter had lost Ironwood would have...entered the portal and done what exactly? What are the stakes here?

To be fair, a LOT of them are from the English writer Coeur Al'Aran.

Granted, on certain occasions, he pumps out story after story with no editing phase for each new chapter, and sometimes his characters border on unintentionally unsympathetic in certain scenarios, but they're still a lot better than canon.
