Murder, which is basically TTT lite, you get selected to be a detective, murderer, or bystander. and if you get to be a bystander you may get a sub-role such as clairvoyent, snitch, or even detective (but without his gear) oddly enough, definitely one of the best games on there.

Prop hunt, self explanatory but if you've never played it, you're a prop who has to hide or a hunter, hunters can only destroy so many props that aren't real players before they die because they take real damage for shooting fake props, props have to taunt every so often to let hunters know where they are.

Realistic car driving, a barebones vehicle simulator which lets you buy lots of different cars to drive around a city and various small locations in japan if you unlock them, comes with radio, time trials, taxi jobs, paintjobs, tuning, and probably some other stuff i'm forgetting, pretty fun to mess around in.

Lots of gmod ports but also some fresh stuff taking advantage of the engines better map size limits.
If there's anything anyone specifically wants to see let me know and i'll search for it or give it a try.

Garry's Mod really needs to go x64 ASAP so it will outlive S&Box.

MegaShot, Ai generated artwork that looks lazy and ugly, alongside stock assets ported straight from half life 2, play and looks like a unity asset flip, so bad and boring it needed a video, in fact i'll just try to get videos from now on for all of these.

Resource haven, some kind of automation type game where you gather up resources and improve stuff, i don't get it, but there's most probably definitely an audience for this.

Sandbox++, An open source fork/version of sandbox specifically so people can contribute to it and it can't be held up by facepunch.

And...Zombies alpha, my absolute favorite game so far, it's a absolutely stellar and wonderful zombies clone that i would say is completely worth your time.

I'm not kidding, Alpha zombies is fucking fantastic.

My problem with Facepunch is the sheer elitism these people have. I'm sure the thread about them has more to offer on why they are fucking ass.

Sure, here's some more
Scrapyard brawl, some kind of arena shooter survival type game where you go around in circles trying your best to survive as long as you can from a selection of classes, i choose the rocket class because i'm oldschool like that. honestly kind of fun to play so i give it a thumbs up :like:

A game called blocks and bullets, destructible environment using voxels....it reminds me of a game or two i played a long time ago, but i can't quite remember their names....But either way it seems okay to me, probably very fun in a bigger lobby but i could only get a lobby with bots at this time.


A game called Grave quest with skeletons and pizza where you just run em over...that's what ya do you must try to get as high a score as possible by running over as many as possible to extend the time, you can throw pizzas as bombs as well, featuring a very distinct and possibly familiar aesthetic to some

This is just Geometry wars (but it's called TRIGGERNOMETRY) and it's pretty fucking awesome, fun sounds and music and addicting gameplay and this is just the tutorial.

And this....is dark descent, a very large game, seems to be emulating the souls genre. this seems to be a very in depth game relative to the others

...You should probably read the controls before going deep inside, the game has it's own glossary.

Honestly i think people in sandbox can make games from 6th gen to 8th gen visual wise from what i've seen, or at the very least largely 7th and 8th gen, i'll have to try finding stuff that emulates older graphical limits more.
 
The games not even out yet. The most important part of this is the combination of the play fund and the deal Garry made with Valve. I think it will be great in a few years.

Most of the concerns stated here are moot. The sausage people are just default models, you can make your game have any other model you'd want. The game has human playermodels already anyways as an option. A lot of the games are kinda meh on the API itself currently, but stuff like Dark Descent and the zombies clones showcase the extent to which people can branch out and make unique stuff. The in-game purchasable cosmetics are created by the community for the most part and the funds go right back into the play fund to give developers more money. If you are pro-developer I don't see what issues you could really have with this project if you look into what it actually is. It's not Garry's Mod 2 and it doesn't want to be.

This is reminiscing me of a survival game Jeremy/Jerma played long time ago that it was of blocks, and you had to survive zombies. It wasn't on Roblox. I can't seem to find it. Looks alright, not because of the graphics, but because it would require more variety I feel. Sounds are pretty cool.

Reminds me of the Tempest 2000 on Atari Jaguar, which had its own soundtrack CD (due to the great soundtrack). Other than that, it looks pretty nice.

Why does an "open source" game engine require a steam account to run?
 
Probably because it’s made to work with Steam and not other platforms. The Valve deal would be a bit redundant otherwise.
It does depend if it comes out for free. You can get blender for free on steam. Yet you have to pay 10 dollars for asprite.
 
Those fucking pill-head character models are so fucking ugly. This game is gonna flop fast... or become popular with 12 year old autists like FNF.

No, I am not exaggerating. It actually eats 12 GB VRAM or more. And even if you join for example the Vampire Survivors ripoff gamemode the performance does not get better despite it looking like a mobile game.

I don't understand how they took Source engine which is known for being pretty lightweight and made it run worse on lowest settings than Unreal Engine on highest settings. I know it's a development build, but with how badly it runs it would require actual magic to optimize it to an acceptable level.
