Piracy has no effect on modding. But, its a bit pointless to mod STALKER 2. The game is constantly getting updated, so, it breaks mods.

You can always reduce the resolution, no one is forcing you to play at 4k .
The game runs well for me at 1920p, high settings and it looks good too.

New EE update fixes the most immediate issues, it also "restores missing geometry", aka, they removed the function in the engine that removed the CNPP sign. Here's a photo from a guy in the official GSC discord.
I don't know what Mataboo was playing at,or why they did it, it's dumb as fuck, it's still GSCs fault they didn't QA the fucking thing before pushing it out the door tho.

I was not running it at 4k. My monitor is 1920x1080. If I had a 4k capable monitor why would I reduce the resolution? It would look like shit at anything below the native resolution of the monitor.

have you tried lowering the settings to medium in most cases? i dont know what settings you run on but it'd help and most games on medium settings still look pretty good for the most part now since consoles and pcs are relatively on par with each other now

Now I'm curious; what's the initial tone and context of that line supposed to be? In English, a phrase like "go your own way" could mean a friendly "keep doing your own thing, you", a cautious "just keep walking, friend", or even a hostile "go someplace - ANY PLACE - else but here".

I installed it this morning and it still looks blurry as shit. They didn't fix much. The enhanced version has some nice things about it but the AA options suck and the game looks blurry off in the distance. Close in object looks fine but things in the distance look like shit. I found a solution that kind of fixes it but involved disabling the already shitty AA enabling FSR and the FSR sharpening and turning the sharpness all the way up. Also setting the FSR to native. It's not a 100% fix. But then you have the stuff they removed from the game. I just reinstalled the original versions of the game and went back to Complete mod. At least that way I can use the MSAA in Call of Pripyat and force decent AA into SoC with the Nvidia control panel. I have to force Vsync on in the Nvidia control panel because that's been broken since release.
Stalker 2 is poorly optimized. It doesn't matter what settings you will use it always runs like shit. There is nothing you can do for poor optimization except sell a kidney and dump a bunch of money into better more expensive hardware to power through the poor optimization. It also uses UE5 and poor performance is pretty much a given with that engine.
No, they didn't patch A life. It's still the shitty spawn bubble they are trying to convince people to believe it is A life.

I doubt they will ever fix that. From what I understand A life would be pretty heavy on CPU's and the chances of them putting it into a game that is also on consoles is very slim. Consoles wouldn't be able to handle it.

It was done in the traditional style of Polish movie/TV translations, where you have one voice reading the translation over the original audio track.
For example, the late legendary Tomasz Knapik, who has been the voice of countless voiceovers of 80's movies, has also done a voiceover for Kung Fury, including a reminder to rewind the tape before returning it to the rental store, as was common practice back when you rented VHS tapes.
I'm fairly certain that the original "иди своей дорогой сталкер" line was meant to express "don't be loitering around here and get moving to wherever you have to go". The tone it was said in also implied it was somewhat of a warning, or a command, rather than a threat like what the English translation did.

I can play games significantly below my monitors native resolution and they look perfectly fine.
Besides what do you consider running well? Is is 30 fps plus?

A steady 60 fps is fine. My monitor has 60hz refresh rate. It won't go any higher without causing some serious screen tearing. But even if I had a 120+ Hz refresh rate a steady 60 would still be fine. I don't consider 30 fps to be running well. It's more like tolerable.

I watched this video earlier and this guy shows how you can get rid of the blur in the enhanced versions.
Just use the seek bar to find the part where he talks about how to "fix" the blur. I am hoping since it is easy for people to fix it that GSC might fix it or have whatever developer they outsourced the porting to fix it. It's 100% but it reduces it by quite a bit. Also looking over some YouTube comments and Reddit posts it seems running the game in 4k helps a lot as well. I tried this myself and it really does work. My monitor is 1080p native but I use the Nvidia DSR upscaling because I like to play a lot of older games that don't really work in resolutions higher than 1920x1080. It even works with the DSR upscaled 4k. It literally looks like the original games in terms of sharpness and crisp visuals. It looks even better when you use the "fix" in the video. At 4k it even gets rid of the jagged edges left behind by the shitty AA options in the game. You don't need a 4k monitor to experience this either. The only problem is game will only run at the resolution you set in Windows settings. So if you want to run it at 1440p or 4k you have to go into the Windows display setting and set your monitor to that. But you have to have a Nvidia GPU and have the DSR setup in the control panel. I have no idea if AMD has an equivalent to this function.
I read somewhere that the enhanced versions are using an older version of FSR. Supposedly if you drop in a .dll file with a newer version of FSR it helps as well if you use the FSR sharpening. I tried it myself and didn't see any major change but it doesn't hurt anything to do it.
You can get the file here it's where I got it. You can just delete the old one in the Stalker root and drop the new one in.
