I love the shit out of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout is my favorite franchise ever. I don't think I've ever seen a main story moment glitch out this badly in any Bethesda game and that's saying a fucking lot.

they don't fuck up because they actually make sure that you can't fuck up unless you use console commands, honest, play a unmodded bethesda TES/FO game and you'll see that you cannot fuck up the main story because shit is locked under some unmovable shit or you don't have a key that won't spawn until certain point into the quest.

I had the entire final quest for the dam in FNV glitch out. I still love FO/ESO tho.

FNV is from obsidian that was doing the game in a 6 week cocaine trip, it's buggy as fuck even WITH bugfixing mods.

You know, in retrospect, maybe Agents of Mayhem was not bad after all. Considering with what we’re seeing here, I still can’t believe the game is coming out tomorrow.

AoM isn't bad, it's a hero shooter that plays like a hero shooter which is repetitive until your balls/tits fall off but it doesn't have CO-OP which it should have to make it fun, that was their fatal mistake with that game so it didn't sell well, i hope that in the timeline this game has actual coop they probably have other locations DLC's...

Volition should have gone under after Gat out of Hell and it should have gone under after Agents of Mayhem for sure. If they don't go down now, I am ready to crown them the DSP of game companies. Their last 3 games would probably sink anyone but the biggest sharks in the game development world. Epic Games propped them up for one last try but in my opinion it has to be over.

The only way out I can see for them is massive downsizing, re-releasing Saints Row 2 (or even better, SR1 since it never came out on PC) and hope to god it sells well enough to finance another AA game. I doubt it though, anyone with any actual talent is probably long gone.

PS: Anyone who didn't see this coming from the time of the first trailer should probably get their brain checked for tumors.

I wonder if THQ Nordic even cares though, they're the Conglomerate(they practically are at this point anyways since they own so much of the fucking industry now ) that owns volition and i dont think ive ever seen them shutter a company before. Be amazing if Volition was the first.

Except Cyberpunk 2077 was a vastly larger game in every sense, so while it is a prodigious fuckup, it has that excuse. SR reboot is tiny in scope, limited in what is on the screen at any given time, and is somehow glitched at a similar or even higher rate according to the review I am seeing.

Anyone giving this game higher than 7 or 8 is just trying to “not be like those other critics”. Game Informer has been irrelevant for years, but this game does not deserve anything higher than a 5. Deep down, they even know this game is not salvageable.

Cyberpunk 2077 was never like this, even with the forced positive reviews. If anything, this is proof that video gaming media critique is useless.
