It's 2008. You start up Saints Row 2 after a long day of work, ready to play a few hours with your buddies. "Ridin in That Black Joint" plays on the main menu. You talk shit to each other. You have true freedom of speech on 2000's Xbox Live and you'll be called a faggot and banned from the group if you whine about someone "offending" you. Mayos, chocolates, rice, and tacos alike (we had true diversity back then in gaming, not this weird manufactured "inclusion" diversity where everyone is segregated and hates each other) call each other racial slurs, insult each other nonstop, and then congratulate each other on a good game at the end because, like I said, this was in 2008 and people weren't faggots back then and it was very hard to actually offend someone. Gangsta brawl, Team gangsta brawl, Strongarm, etc... The multiplayer is a complete experience, has years of replay value and you don't have to pay for any extra costumes or bullshit.
I never knew that gaming and society would peak then and things would go far downhill in the next decade. This new Saints Row, the gaming industry, and the way most people act in general now are like living in some sort of evil parallel universe.
