as for EA, what I can say is that they are pretty chill sometimes. renegade X got the ok, iirc the only condition was to never take money for it (which wouldn't fly with a lot of "modders" and "content creators" these days).

still, EA is betterish, it's crazy i know but they lost so much damn money they are rather okayish with mods, they don't allow parteon drama shit though so any mod that hides itself under a patreonwall is not endorsed by EA and if it doesn't get enough traction can fly under the radar, the sims 4 modding community comes to mind because many private mod makers are scared shitless of gaining traction and thus the attention of EA.
