Women from the 80s, 90s and 2000s had more personality. They've gotten worse by 2011 or 12.
This will probably sound autistic, but I happened to see a Britney Spears music video from like 20 years ago and I realized women back then actually tried to look hot instead of this weird ironic modern fashion trend of trying to look as ugly as possible so they can be like "I'm so pretty I look hot even though I'm trying not to"

Yea. Literally Lara Croft was an icon of both the 90s and 2000s, and it's solely because of her sex appeal.

Final Saints Row update by Flippy:
Just lay SR to rest and never speak of it ever again. It was a product of the late-2000s (and, to a lesser extent, through the early-2010s), and it's doomed to stay in that timeline.

I don't buy the whole "Deep Silver WORSE than Volition!" angle, seems like damage control. You can bet that Volition were the ones who made the "HATERS GONNA HATE!" BFV tier cringe swipes at their fans, they're definitely worse than the suits. At least Deep Silver wanted to print some money out of this, what the fuck was the direction with the reboot anyways? Student loans? SO RELATABLE AM I RIGHT?
Even if that was the direction they wanted to go with, they could still make it work if there was an ounce of talent left in that studio. There isn't, just a whole bunch of miserable people that probably don't even like video games, the picture I posted earlier speaks volumes. This game would have been a disaster either way, Deep Silver or no, but at least I can sympathize with them for trying to course correct and trying to make this marketable/profitable, with how much the game cost to make they had that right.

I think Flippy's just trying to not speak ill of the dead, but I agree. Publishers have a lot of creative control in the creation of games, but I just think the people making the games had no passion for the series at that point and didn't care about the fans or the game itself. Even though I think the plot of SR3 and SR4 are retarded and against the spirit of the games, I couldn't say the devs didn't try to make something interesting or had no passion for what they were working on. Everything here is just a shitter Watchdogs and Volition deserves to be shut down after unironically shitting on the OG fans for wanting to play a game that isn't shit and not even releasing the fucking remastered PC port of 2, which probably would have kept them afloat more than the reboot ever could. But again, these people do not care about video games. All they care about is injecting their bullshit millennial faggotry into the wider public sphere.

That makes so much sense. I can remember a lot of women/girls in my personal life and in the public space from the the mid 2000s to when I graduated high school in 2014. In terms of the celebrities, I remember Leah Dizon, Jessica Chobot, Morgan Webb, Shiina Ringo, Edie Brickell, the Spice Girls, Sarah McLachlan, Juliana Hatfield, etc and they all were hot, but they also were talented, intelligent and seemed like they had good personalities and were fun to be around. I would have a list with at least 50 to 100 names if I kept going.

There really is no equivalent to that in today's day and age. Most famous female celebrities fade away from the public consciousness after a couple years and even when they are at their prime, they don't make anything that's really good and lasting. On a personal level, most women I see are the type that think going to church is a replacement for having an actual personality, your average attractive but bland type or out and out thots, none of which I am interested in. It seems like social media really made women an actual drag to be around when that was really never the case beforehand. Also made them less hot by making them take up a generic aesthetic rather than having a cool unique style. What a shame.

I blame the dating apps more than general social media. Now a woman doesn't have to have a personality to attract a man because if she's even mildly attractive she can get tons of men to come after her and do all the work to build a relationship, and she can just pick whatever guy she wants.

Take solace in the fact that this completely blows up in most of their faces around the age of 27 when they want to get married and suddenly have to settle for someone they don't like at all.

That's when they marry the cuck to pay for their lifestyle while they're fucking some other guy behind his back. Then they divorce him for the money and go all "Sex and the City" until they're middle-aged and nobody wants them. That's when they really get their comeuppance.

It's been a few months now and I still can't enjoy listening to Love Shack any more. Thanks Volition.
I still listen to The B-52s, and I listen to Love Shack, the horrible shit Volition has done hasn't stopped me from listening to it. Saints Row 2022 is still a godawful game, especially a year in removed.

Same. Biggest crime of that song was not singing the gay flamboyant guy's lines like the gay flamboyant guy. How else are they supposed to know that your Chrysler is as big as a whale and that it in fact, is about to set sail.

Not really. It's just repeating 1983.

It's definition is changing... not so much leisure or entertainment anymore. It's financial projects to exploit hardcore shizo-autist lifestylers, children with access to their parent's credit cards or deliver indoctrination through in game real politik. There's also complete ultra casual gaming too for people who don't even like video games.

Seeing the industry change from companies that could get away with what was found in GTA and SR3 to doing woke humorless dogshit under the same name... knowing full well it will fail with the paying audience and then doing it anyway. That's not a sign of life.
