For a niche alternative comedy group like MDE it was easily the most profitable and successful thing they ever did. It also brought in people who might not be interested or like MDE's typical comedy and made them fans. It reached outside of their core audience. I would hardly call a million dollars in profit a "very mild success"

They clearly made enough to warrant doing it again and even talked about setting a $100,000 grand prize but I think that was to maintain interest and even still nothing seems set in stone.

There is so little footage that trying to predict this is pretty much pointless but I think World Peace 2 is going to be good but a clear step down in quality from the first. Sam and the boys were at their peak creatively when the first was shot in the mid 2010s. They are older still funnier dudes but I don't know if the same energy will be there. I think it will be a solid 7 out of 10 and worth watching but obviously not the genius WP 1 was.

I totally disagree with everyone saying it's going to bomb. Sam, Nick and Charls are all very funny dudes are have proven they still have it many times since WP1

The people who say it's going to bomb are just disingenuous Sam Hyde haters. They said HydeWars was going to bomb, they said PGL was going to bomb, Fishtank was going to bomb, the NFT thing was going to bomb, the boxing match was going to bomb, the streams are going to bomb. Everything Sam does is horrible and it's going to fail - and then when it doesn't they have some retarded excuse like "yeah ok so it wasn't that bad but I really hate the wiggers he surrounds himself with."

His audience grows with each project. His fanbase is bigger than ever and Sam is million times more engaged with his audience than he ever was before.

Sam has made more money this year than he has in his entire career. 2023 has been his most productive year. He took so many risks this year and all of them paid off. WP2 is going to be at least as good as WP2 in terms of quality and humor. The humor is going to be on the same level and maybe a little bit better because no censorship. When Nick finally started appearing with Sam again he said he had notebooks full of sketch ideas ready to go that he had been working on since WP. Personally I think Sam's post-WP Happy World Daddy content was actually funnier than World Peace. I think they might have a hard time making back over a million dollars to cover the costs of WP2 right away but they're clearly using the project as a springboard for other things that will make them money down the road. Comedy tour much?? That plus merch, plus monthly gumroad subscriptions, plus new fans discovering old MDE content. It's going to end up being a financial success.
