Something that really gets my mind jogging is why Sam is having these 20 year olds around him. He's almost twice their age.
I can only assume that Sam is incredibly frustrating to work with, and thus he has to resort to trick indulgent young adults to work for him. I'd love to see Sam replace them with people his own age, I guess it would sink pretty fast since they wouldn't see him as this holy father figure. It's painfully obvious in Jets case. Kid has no personality and is doing everything in his way to stroke Sams ego. He has a pretty faux-extroverted persona on Twitter though, but as soon he appears on the live streams he shows his true insecure introverted persona. Wish he could bring that online persona to the live streams, that'd make him more entertaining.

Also Nick's VODs stay up for a little while longer so you actually can watch those until they get paywalled. Sam is a money-grubbing kike at this point and paywalls them immediately after ending the stream. So if you're in a different timezone and can't catch them live, you're fucked.
Sure, Sam and his crew being flaggots can be understandable because shekels are involved and it's needed to keep the lights on. But telling "fuck you" like this to your audience will hurt the bottom line in the end.

The stream was constantly dying, it was two hours of technical difficulties. I think the only other time a stream has vanished was when a couple no no words slipped out. It's been mentioned that they eventually end up on the gumroad, but I don't have access to it/a current mirror to check.

All zoomers are faux-extroverted (I like that term) on social media, it comes with the territory. In Jet's case I get the impression he subdues his personality around Sam as his mannerisms inidicate to me that he idolises the man. Laughs at everything he says, shuts up when he's speaking and nods in approval, his sense of humor is clearly influenced by Sam also. I get the feeling I'm watching a young lad in want of a role model when I see him on screen with him, and similarly with Sam I get the feeling he's a man who wants to be a role model with all his recent edgy dad-like advice content and the entourage of young male fuck ups he's accrued. It's instinct for men to form these relationships in the absence of the ideal familial connections (Sam has no kids, Jet's real dad is a complete sperg), maybe that explains the seemingly odd company they keep. That's just my 2 cents.

I don't agree with that comparison at all. Having watched Kino Casino and Nick's streams Jet adds far more as a co-host. Warski could literally be replaced by a soundboard of "WHOOA ASHTON" and "LET'S GOOOO" because of how much he repeats himself and he's mentally deficient to the point where he is incapable of saying anything insightful or adding to the conversation. Jet can joke with Nick and has good chemistry with him. He's also far smarter then the other zoomer Sam hangs out with.

I don't know how Sam's crew isn't always on tenterhooks around him. They must be at least somewhat aware of how he's had so many problems with other people who have worked for/with him over the years and probably had to sign NDAs not to squeal if shit goes south as it's been said by many that is how Sam likes to operate. Sam can turn against/dislike people for some trivial stupid reasons, one bad move and most of these people have nothing to really fall back on. I guess most of them are always high, but still I'd be high-strung as hell if I worked for the guy.

Nick obviously has leverage, I don't mean him. I think Jet is in a better position than the rest, but any of those others seem easily dispensable.

It's hard to like him when he does shit like this. No normal person has a schedule to sit through a stream, and who the fuck pays money for VODs. Stop being a greedy fag Sam, these are low effort streams not creative videos you produced, why there's an option to put these behind a paywall on YT is beyond me.

These strategies have had a history of hindering exposure and success. He won't be able to branch out of a small niche audience if he keeps doing this.

He's the least insufferable nu-MDE member, and does have a hand for video editing. But to be really honest: Jet should get a real, hands-on job for a few years. If the Hyde stuff does fall apart, he at least should have a fallback plan.

People are constantly saying this but what exactly does it mean? A fallback plan in post-production is just another job with an expiration date. He's already worked for Sam longer than most editing gigs would last. And he's been able to grow his portfolio, improve his skills, work on projects he seems to genuinely enjoy and that give him creative freedom. That's a dream scenario for anyone looking to do post production and video editing as a career. I can't think of how it could be better. You can see his internet history. It's pretty clear Jet's not going to be someone with a "normal" career ever.

It doesn't seem like Sam is holding them back either. They all have side projects and side hustles and a few of them have developed their own fanbases outside of MDE.

I'm very curious about the share of superchats that Nick gets from the house streams. He could easily break out on his own and immediately have 4k+ viewers completely independent from Sam, but I would bet that he's getting short-changed big time because he just doesn't pay enough attention to the gross sum that he pulls in.
