I think Jet is genuinely passionate about the work he does for Sam. He's not very bright or really even that funny but the way he talks about the projects he works on you can tell he really does care about them. Like I'm not a Jet fan or anything but I do like him for that reason. He's also pretty good at editing and put in insane hours during Fishtank where he was basically on call for 6 weeks straight.

By all accounts as well, he's come from a dogshit background and beaten the odds and made a name for himself. He's not a methhead, he's not in jail and he's not a psycho. You can't help but a cheer a fella like that on.

As a longstanding MDE fan - I don't know how to feel about "tha return" given I stopped my gumroad sub around new years, it's just boring and pointless to pay for Sam and Nick chatting around for an hour.

Back year or two, when their gumroad shit had those unironically and 100% seriously fascinating HWD videos, that was visual acid for real, as someone who doesn't do drugs that shit made me feel out of place, and the whole idea made sense of chipping in money for that shit.

PGL is just trash, for real. And now that Chuck's back, even if I disregard the unhinged Istanbul episode, it's just...seems forced. It's not inviting, not even the slightest. I might be wrong but then again, like any successful CLIQUE on the internet, MDE is basically a cult, you don't make money if you don't make it a cult, so asking anyone "is the Charls shit any good" is basically committing blasphemy, the mere idea of questioning it is a transgression.

I don't feel any of their shit anymore, it's stale, it's forced, that standup shit had recycled material from years and years ago (chinese bit) so how the fuck is he practicing for his new standup by using 10 year old bits. I kinda respect the fact that Charls outed Sam as a homosexual degenerate and Nick still forced Sam to kiss Charls on the dick and apologize. Kind of excited for WP2. & yeah calling Sam a washed up has been a great way to collect top hats but I’m gonna keep doing it anyway, Charls whether anyone likes it or not is a head to the hydra.

He’s mentioned it a few times over the years. This is the one I remember where he went the most in depth. As you can tell the only real unifying thread is that he wanted to do a reality show.
