Sometimes I get numbed by failure man. I find it frightening to leave things up to chance and I try to control as much as I possibly can. So when things fail, I consider it a personal failing, some indication of insufficiency or lack of skill but ultimately my fault. In a sense, doomers are worse than predators, because at least predators have drive and conviction. The difference is that doomers can knock it off whenever they choose to, whereas a predator is something that must neutralized, because it can not and will not stop of it's own accord. Back in 2017, I liked Sam because I thought it was a good use of his resources at that time to rage out against injustices within a hypocritical system, but I was sincerely hoping that in a few years, he'd shave that shit off his face and become a more temperate and normal member of society.
