He was comfortable enough with her to literally choke her out in front of everyone lmao. No way Sam would have ever done something like that to Payton or Binx, and as strange as it sounds we know Sam choking out a girl is a major compliment from him.
There was that one confession room with Payton where he seemed to turn a corner with her, and he started talking about how he was gonna kill Jeff and how it'd be fine because Jeff is homeless. She was laughing despite herself and seemed to be having fun.
If so, fine. But pre-pedo stuff she was still better content than Binx and Payton.
Are you talking about earlier in the season when Burt went downstairs? Do we actually know if he talked to his family?
Not to be "that guy", but I was pro Mizzy way before she was voted off the show so that doesn't add up for me.
She really should have trained with Sam.
No one is calling her a hero, dunce. People are only saying that she's the most likeable of the most recent fish and also provided content unlike Stinks and Payturd

I did say she had the potential for a hero arc in act 3, but we were robbed of it. I do think she is the main character.
On a similar note (detracting from the conversation a bit), I've seen the idea that Payton's family has contacted production and has told them to not fuck with her and things of the like. Is there anything concrete to support this, or is it just a theory built off of speculation?
Maybe I'm misremembering, but I feel like either someone on the show or someone here said his family called the show to try to convince him to leave earlier today.

The wiggers have pointed out that Payton's family and friends watch the show regularly, and it would make sense that could be the reason they didn't give Payton the lie detector test.
