I'm kind of jaded on the nature of black culture - they accuse whites of being racist, while constantly making excuses for their own disproportionate criminality, and blame everyone but themselves for their own failures.

Look at the recent black President of Harvard - Claudine Gay - she plagiarized a ton of material, and when she finally got caught, and was forced to resign, she cried "racism" in her resignation letter... And was given a paid faculty post as a reward! Do you think a white plagiarist President of Harvard would be allowed to resign to a paid faculty position, or would they leave in disgrace? It's almost like blacks enjoy criminality or are biologically prone to it.

Anyway I'm not trying to derail this thread to discuss the finer points of race... Every race has psychopaths & sociopaths... I want to keep the focus on fish tank and why the fuck they hired an animal abusing rapist murderer.

Sam & Jet must have known about his felony murder and other convictions. In the stream above Sam and Charleston talk about a "partnership" together. Very disconcerting.

If Sam is serious then it just shows the complete lack of judgement and vetting by the show (i.e. Summer, Charleston). For someone like Sam who claims to care about morality (and perhaps liability), why would you hitch your star to a convicted murderer / admitted rapist / animal abuser like Charleston White?

I want to see entertaining and unpredictable reality situations with personalities that clash that the audience can root for and relate to.

Not animal-abusing black criminals.

Edit 2: I'm not sure why people are flagging this post as late. I was the one that originally posted the fact Charleston White was a convicted-murderer admitted-rapist animal-abuser almost fifteen pages ago while half of you were still defending him. I can't be "late" collating my own original research material.

I'll be honest, thats an amazing idea but not for this show. Jet would fuck it up way too hard, thats Network television levels of amazing. Try to pass that onto Mark Burnett. You think Brian is an actor because he's terrible at acting and by actor you don't mean an actor you mean a freeloader. Makes sense.

I don't know a less confusing way to explain it. You can't call him a freeloader because he's part of the fish cast, but I don't believe he was hired organically or expected to be an actual longterm fish, I believe he was an emergency favor called in due to kicking Frank off and Jet not having time to vet other contestants. He was meant to fill in the void Frank left but not meant to have a chance to win. I personally think he was meant to be kicked off before Summer and the other fish that left but since they left early, he stayed on.

As for his acting, I mean there's a number of times where he comes across as trying to appear like he's really upset or mad but it's so ham fisted. I don't think anyone told him to specifically say these cringy things but that they told him "You're Brian the guy who is broke and desperate for money" and Brian did his best to play this role, he just really sucks at it because he's not an actual actor (as in, acting is not his profession). Even right now as I type this, he's upstairs saying "everyone better support Jimmy, everyone besides Jimmy are faggots" sounds so forced.

His constant forced/cringy acting, 4th wall breaking, promoting Mondo Megabits (He earlier said if he wins the prize money he is investing all of it in Mondo Megabits), his cringe and terrible acting "relationship" with CK, etc, all of this is why I don't think he auditioned to be a fish and wasn't ever brought on to have an actual chance at winning.

Of course I could be wrong. If I am wrong, then he's just a HUGE loser with zero personality. Either way, I'm glad he's gone.

The point of the show is for people to get out of their comfort zones, aren't we supposed to expect otherwise normal or boring people go feral?

The problem is the selection of fish and freeloaders, and specifically Jet's actions and the WWE writing tier and forcing of plots. Half the fish just self terminated right off the bat for a variety of reasons, mostly because of the staff fucking with them before the fish could even figure out if they liked or hated them. JC just left, Summer's brain entered the next dimension from an anxiety attack Sam put her into, Megan got emotional over getting put in the corner or some shit by Ben, Cole started mentioning S1 then immediately Sam jumps on him and Ben comes and tells him to come to the basement so he just quits/kicked. Right as the fish start getting grudges forming Jet, Ben or Sam stomps all over it. No fucking wonder the fish are just passive, they never get a chance to do anything. Then you get the telegraphed plotline and elimination meant for Summer and TJ where one or the other eliminates the other, except Summer went into space so now they had to get a succubus in the form of Taylor to do it, except you're kicking a freeloader, not a fish. The only freeloader that actually provided content was Nifty solely by acting like a rage totem that none of the fish could enact upon. Every time Tayleigh starts getting entertaining by attacking Nifty in some form Jet rushes in and says "Oh no no, Nifty is protected" which only further unified the fish against her. Tayleigh starts a beef to put in the dog house, nope not allowed, Tayleigh wants to rub peppers on Nifty's glasses in the middle of the night, nope, Tayleigh throws BBQ sauce on her pillow? Jet tells her off. The only other content producer, Jimmy, continuously crosses way over into inappropriate stuff like violently attacking other fish but gets coddled. Trish, Brian and Shinji are just dead when it comes to content aside from chatting up TTS or winning the contests.

As for the freeloaders Kanye isn't hostile to the fish, Octavius was just a dude-weed-bro MMA comedian Joe Rogan clone, Delaney was just too mellow and her antics were just 'drunk woman' stuff like hitting Jimmy in the head with a shoe, if anything her presence was having a calming effect and dampening Jimmy's tard rages. Charleston spent his entire time screwing around with the TTS and immediately running off when it mentioned gay shit, his stuff with Tayleigh was just comedy for an hour, not hostility. Nifty is the only content generating freeloader, but it had the opposite effect of unifying the fish not pitting them against each other. The S2 is trying to be scripted and not scripted at the same time and its failing at both for a variety of reasons. I think most have figured out the theme is to make the fish grow a spine and take initiative for their own affairs, but the problem is they kept stepping on those that did take initiative. Then the eliminations are totally arbitrary and at the whims of Sam and Jet, so what exactly is the point of getting immunity or participating? The challenges were meant to be humiliating and demeaning, the winner debasing themselves to win.

S1 fish were just built differently, by the end the whole house was covered in human shit, food sauces, and pockmarked with holes. Letty was basically reduced to a single outfit covered in sauces and other stains, Fatty only had a single pair of shit stained underwear, Vance and Josie were also run down bad. Sam wants the S2 crew act like S1 but never allows them to feud.

I was thinking about Sam laying into the fish about not being faggots and this is the be interesting show.

I didn’t watch S01 so it’s hard to gauge but in terms of like, if you just saw a grainy thumbnail of a fish in a room, would you click on it to see what they were going to do or what they were talking about or planning.

Tbh it was like that with Shinji, got stale though, then with Taylor and TJ, but also stale. The niggerfaggot is actively TND annoying and anyone else is nontent.

It’s like the contestants adopted a prison yard mentality of trying to keep their heads down, and not make waves, not standing out, to make the day to day easier. But that’s poison for anything interesting.

If it’s not halfway over and there is no desire to check in on any of the fish, that’s a huge failure.

At least with summer the flipouts were super entertaining and she’s a small weak girl so she wouldn’t do any actual damage (not counting summer actually setting off Brian and totally would eventual set Jimmy off).

Big personalities, but not “everything has to be about me because I’m a gay or gangster nigger”.

It, tbh, must be hard to find people willing to totally leave their lives, over holidays, and be tortured, yet have enough going on in their lives to be actually interesting.

You could at least source from LA trash a bit more, or aspiring LA trash. Doing anything for attention, and at least a semblance of caring about their appearance.

Quite a few of the seasons of survivor had men v women, whites vs blacks vs asians.
They could straight up copy activities from other shows but just don’t have a woke filter and interesting people would keep it going.

The voting and endorsements and alliances and chips meaning actually nothing provides no incentives. It’s just contestants versus production so they actually bond more as a group, but that’s less conflict and therefore boring.
