Frank's hassling is alright, show could get a lot better because of it. I hope he doesn't focus too much on Tay mainly because Trish is starting to get real high and mighty since all the fuckery is focused onto someone else. She's pretty much at the point where she needs to get punched in the face again. Shinji would be the one that's unable to be hassled because he's Japanese and more weird and disgusting shit is normal for him. For TJ, all he'll have to do is council him on LubeCooch in front of everyone and make everybody follow him when he decides to silently slip away from the uncomfortable situation.

Shinji is the least affected by hassle i feel because hes the only one who didnt watch season one (He admitted that his friends told him to join the show and told him not to watch anything about it). I also think his time as a pornstar helps cause thats probably more physical than anything hassle is allowed to do. I would be surprised if hassle gets under shinji's skin enough to have him actually freak out badly or leave the show, even when trish was trying to fight him over the wood planks he was controlled and kept looking over at Sam to make sure hes not going to overboard with pushing or yelling/insulting. I've had my endorsement on shinji for a few weeks now and I don't think it will change anytime soon.
 
So I was considering this and I'm aware that someone has already attempted this before but I wanna see if a proof of concept for a "kiwi cut" of s1 episode 1 can be made. I'm gonna piggyback a bit off of the notes that that one other poster that tried this left. I was wondering if there were ideas, themes, or concepts that you guys could suggest for what could make a good ep1.

Bear in mind I have no experience with film or editing, my main goal would be to inspire a group of kiwis to come together (and hopefully hand off the lead role to someone else) and work on a season 1 project that we could have fun watching and could easily show off to friends. Also, does anyone know of any interviews or "behind the scenes" stuff that sheds more light on how big brother staff convert their footage to edited episodes? A reference on how to get started on that would be nice. Any additional advice would be appreciated as well.

I never cared for frank at all, never got what people found funny about him. he's just a big annoying stupid weirdo. I watched a few of the videos he used to do after the boogie stuff and I left thinking it's a wonder he hasn't been shot.

it was the commander's editing, Frank's shit was wholly salvaged in the editing
if you happened to watch Frank's later stuff, you were robbed, because there was a switch in editors and you wouldn't be able to see any magic because it just wasn't there

I think he's good to bring in because otherwise it's just them sitting around listening to Dumbgay talk about taking it up the ass. Other than that he's pretty boring once he settles down and stops fucking with people.

Japanese are natural collectivists. You cannot break any one of them individually, but you can break them by making them feel like they've let down the group and betrayed their belief in them.

I propose that since Tayleigh is broken and pathetic right now (but not in any real danger to herself and others), that Shinji be given a task to save her from elimination, one that's essentially impossible to do (but it must seem possible but difficult on it's face). When he inevitably fails and she has to leave complete with teary goodbyes, that will rattle him more than anything they can do to himself.
