You could quite easily made it a based movie, have modern day Santa be a (((white))) man propped up by the gay church and corpos with the new santa being an elf that was there from the start.

Anyways the trailer seemed hand made to be as controversial as it could, with the bizarre hope of getting attention rather than have it die in theatres since it is made for absolutely no one.
 
Bah, cynical takes on the shallow, materialistic secular version of Christmas have been done to death.

People for whom Christmas is a personal, introspective, religious experience probably don’t care. Odds are the “true believers” actually have rituals this time of year full of meaning beyond “buying lots of stupid shit”.

My family raised me on advent candles, carolling door-to-door, reading Charles Dickens and going to Midnight Mass. I didn’t always appreciate it, and I don’t do that stuff anymore, but it instilled in me to have lots of moments of quiet introspection about how this is the darkest time of year (literally and figuratively) for people all over the Northern Hemisphere and it’s time to enjoy spending time with loved ones and ignore the shallow shit the media shoves in our faces.

Christmas should mean more to us than just Santa and shitty songs on the radio. Whether you’re actively religious or not, who fucking cares what Hollywood vomits out? They can’t take away the “real”meaning from me or my family.

Not everyone has that luxury, of course.
 
I ranted to my friend on how you would expect HBO Max to know that life has been pretty fucking miserable in the last 2 years and that we could use some wholesome christmas spirit to lift our spirits up. But no, they allow this piece of establishment nihilistic progressive SHIT fest to infect our screens. Its a christmas special made not only by people that HATE christmas and christianity but hate everyone that loves it and all they stand for. Even Robot Chicken treated their christmas specials with more respect and dignity.

Just a product of PROPAGANDA from an establishment that is at war with its own people.

I kind of got fed up since he wasnt getting the point of this special being made by people that hate us and want us dead, so I dropped the subject. Either way, this movie just pisses me off when I know I shouldnt care. I suppose is because Christmas, even at its most "souless corporate", was still a happy time to celebrate and be more sharing and kind. They want to destroy Santa because, again even under all that corporate, he is still a represenation of a christian saint that represents kindness, sharing and love. Shit the establishment wants to see destroyed. You can feel Sarah and Seth's hatred through the screen, this is a rant and propaganda piece from two pieces of atheistic jewish shits.

And the pity party has already started because of course it did.

Just because Rogan told someone that got his car broken into to " just deal with it, it's how it is in the big city" doesn't mean He is disconnected from the real world.

Among all of the other problems, I can tell from the trailer that the series is just going to be a bunch of lazy writing filled with all the tired old jokes we've seen before. Case in point when the old green elf is about to blow away or something, he trots out the old, already been done 1000 times before, "If die get rid of my porn" joke.

It's like comedy and writing is dead, and all they can do is keep repackaging the same old shit and hoping people won't notice.

Now that I think about it, I‘m pretty sure those shorts were filmed before the trailer was uploaded. How on earth would they be able to script, film and organize all this within mere days after the trailer was released?
So yeah, they‘re doing this on purpose.

“My car was broken into 15 times, why are you so upset about someone doing it once? LA is awesome” seems like a pretty unaware thing to me.
